The level of stupidity, lies, false reporting here is staggering. Multiple people have posted photo montages of Clinton, Obama, Biden, Schumer, Harris, AOC, Omar, Tlaib, and many others in the exact same pose with happy, we love the people messages, and then Musk doing the same thing in a photo below screaming "Nazi!" So it's total bullshit.
Ultimately though, TDS and general stupidity is here to stay. I almost never go onto Farcebook anymore, but I did this morning, ostensibly to check on a MTB Fat bike ride and I saw that they plastered my feed with news stories about the price of eggs. There are thousands - tens of thousands of comments saying the same thing: "Trump Said costs would come down." Even though the articles ALL SAY THE SAME THING. Bird Flu is causing hundreds of thousands of chickens to be destroyed, inventory is dramatically down, and recovery is months away - these fucking morons have to blame a Politician, who cannot do anything about a virus. They don't want facts, they don't want rational explanations, they want butt hurt emotions and willful blindness. Everything is about validating their biased and pathetic views.

This is one area I will break rank and disagree with severely. It's the one area I disagree totally with Trump on, pandering to his base and setting back transgender rights.
I don't think trans people should be treated in a special manner or artificially glorified, but I don't see the point in persecution of them either. The passport thing especially was totally done out of spite and serves no practical purpose.
The military is a little more gray area and the devil would be in the details of their role and purely whether they can meet the standard for combat or not. Outside of that definition, I don't see the point.

Transgender is a mental disorder, they shouldnt have any special "rights". You are born a man and want to play pretend female? You should be ready for the abuse and all the short comings that go along with your decision. As for the Military, they have no business serving, none at all. They are not mentally stable, they need not be in uniform.

Disorders are not necessarily illnesses. Would you say a child with ADHD is mentally ill? No. It's a learning disability. There's a difference between a disorder and an illness. Even the ADA recognizes that, officially.
I also never said they deserved "special" rights. They deserve the same rights as anyone else.
No one should be ready for any abuse, period. Left or right. To say anyone should be "ready" for it is horrible.
You can think what you want about trans people. That's your right. But don't think you're allowed to intrude into their personal lives and start telling them how they should classify themselves. You have no right to dictate their lives, only your own.

It’s dumb and not a Nazi salute but it was stupid for him to do and anyone could have seen this as an outcome. I’ve never seen a crossbody Nazi salute. I’ve watched a good bit of historical and WWII things. I’ll admit I can’t say this is my area of expertise or something I’ve been attentive to in the past but here’s a historical video and none are cross body.

They shouldnt' have special rights at all. I'm up in the air about the prison thing personally for some practical reasons of relations between prisoners and it depends largely on "when" they transitioned how much muscle mass they have comparatively to men or women. So that's more a gray area.
As for the military, they have every right to serve. I absolutely disagree with you. If they meet the combat standard, they have every right to fight and die for their country as everyone else. The standard is all that should ever matter, and the standards should be blind to gender all together. Which will mean, for obvious reasons, women will be largely (but not totally) disqualified from some roles due to the standard. Same with trans women as well who might not be able to meet such standards after transitioning.
And no, they're not mentally unstable by definition. They may have more incidents of instability than most, true, but by definition, they aren't unstable.
No one is allowed to serve that has been found to have a serious Mental disorder.
Here is a short list that cannot serve....
Psychotic disorders: Such as schizophrenia, paranoid disorder, or other unspecified psychosis
- Mood disorders: Such as major depression, bipolar disorder, or depressive disorder
- Anxiety disorders: Such as panic disorder, agoraphobia, social phobia, or obsessive-compulsive disorder
- Conduct or behavioral disorders: Such as impulse control disorder, oppositional defiant disorder, or antisocial behavior
- Eating disorders: Such as anorexia or bulimia
- Attention deficit disorder (ADD) or hyperactivity disorder (ADHD): If symptoms interfere with academic or perceptual skills
- Learning disabilities: Such as dyslexia
A diagnosis for gender dysphoria is included in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-5). The DSM-5 is published by the American Psychiatric Association.

I didn't see Gender Dysphoria on the list of banned disorders by the military. It's a disorder, but not an illness. And it may not be a classified disorder for longer when DSM6 comes out most likely because of this very reason.
There are disorders/disabilities, and then there are illnesses. A disorder or disability doesn't inherently change your ability to function, it's just a neurodivergence.
By contrast, an illness like major depression or anxiety does, by definition, interfere with basic life tasks like eating and sleeping per the diagnostic criteria.

If you are born male and struggle with your sexual identity you have a mental disorder. You make a choice to play female, suck it up. If you are jailed for something you shouldnt be given special privelige no special cell block, go to te male cell block and enjoy your sexual identity, I am sure there are many there to help you. Otherwise put them in mental inst to sort out their problems.
