I had a little bit left from my VA disability payment, so I said to hell with it and bought some .45 ammo. Figured it was the least I could do to say thanks for this contest, and to help support our vendors.

I'd rather one of the members win it. Possible conflict of interest and what not. Just something personal. The other guys here can do what they want.
There are a couple ways to run a group buy.
1. The traditional way is for one person to make the order, the product is shipped to them, and everyone pays them. It's a hassle for anyone that doesn't live near the person that orders, and they have to collect the money up front. It's a pain in the ass to organize (Note: I'd be willing to do this for a group based in Rochester if we can get 10+ cases of ammo).
2. Everyone orders themselves. We get a coupon code for a set % or $ off. The more we order, the greater the discount for everyone. Everyone gets the products shipped to themselves because they ordered it. The other option is for everyone to make their own order, and then the company refunds a certain % or $ after we hit certain limits. This would guarantee that they don't give a high discount if only a few people order, but it's a pain in the ass for them because they basically have to refund everyone.
I've got an overseas vacation planned in a few weeks. Once I get back from that, I'll see if we can set something up with Target Sports. Sorry for hijacking your thread

I hope you don’t mind but I’m going to use it to pay it forward.
My son in law just recently had his permit upgraded to No Restrictions and he wants to start carrying. Before he does though he is going to need to practice much more and he has also decided to take at least one advanced class. This is where I come in. He will need the ammo to do this so I am going to use this to buy it for him. After all, he will ultimately be the one who will protect what’s most dear and precious to me. My daughter and two grandsons.
