Heard on the local radio station this morning on the way to work that there is a woohoo virus vaccination site at the fair grounds.
once the populace gets their little red pill injected it should be safe to start having events again. Keep yer fingers crossed.

I’m in the free state (for the time being) of Florida.Two gun shows this weekend.One at the Hernando Sportsmans Club in what was once Weeki Wachee and one in the armory in Crystal River. Been close to a year since I’ve been to one.Looking forward.

Looks like there won’t be a spring gun show in Syracuse again this year. There is a show scheduled for this Sept. 18-19 though.

I won’t be going to the Hamburg gun show this weekend but I will be attending the one in January. I’m hoping to purchase two pistols at that time.

While it's not a NY gun show, the one I went to here in AZ was interesting.
You could carry, but they required a zip tie through the mag well, and all magazines unloaded.
Had a guy at the entrance supplying the zip ties, and you had to empty the mags and carry the rounds loose in your pocket.
So, you kept possession of all your stuff at all times, but...
Not the *worst* way to handle that, but I can't say I was happy about it either.

This is what they do at the Hamburg fair grounds I just walk by then and say nothing.
Sounds way more dangerous than it needs to be. I could just imagine the shit show of people trying to clear their guns.

Yea, the guy who they had applying the zip ties tried to clear my LCP and didn't rack the slide with enough authority, so it didn't eject the round and he got it stuck. I had to take it back and clear it for him.
I imagine it's some idiot at an insurance company who made the policy. Guy has no idea he is making things less safe.

While a shooting at a gun show is possible without such a policy, a mass shooting would *only* be possible with the policy in place.
How many shots could a "mass shooter" get off in a building *full* of armed responders ?
He'd have better luck at the police station.
