The Western allies who are happy that Russia is thrown their strength against the Ukraine in a bloody war of attrition.
This was probably calculated and instigated by the CIA.

Faulty maintenance just happens to cause explosions we never see anywhere else.
They just so happen to occur right in the middle of the exact type of conflict that would encourage sabotage ?
That would be like the Russian flagship exploding and sinking and people saying it was some ensign smoking in the engine room LOL.

I wouldn't doubt at all that the CIA is behind this.
They may have baited Putin into the conflict the same way they baited Saddam into invading Kuwait.
But, the fact remains that both invasions were unjustified immoral acts, and both dictators fell for the bait hook line and sinker.
The CIA being evil and behind things doesn't absolve the dictators they manipulate from responsibility.
Not any more than "just doing the job they were hired for" gets a hit man out of a murder charge.

If they went after Poland, the goal would not be to remove Russain troops from Poland.
The goal would be to eliminate Russia's ability to threaten any neighbor.
When NATO was done, Russia wouldn't be a credible threat to a boy scout troop, let alone a sovereign neighbor.
The demographic cost of the majority of their military aged males being eliminated during that operation could ensure the complete collapse of their society, maybe even culture.
Or it would be like a nuclear power station blowing up during a routine maintenance check (Chernobyl). Or a top of the line submarine exploding and sinking because of a torpedo fuel leak (Kursk). Ivan's track record on these matters contains some uniquely impressive failures.
Still not sure I buy it. But is it possible given how complicated pipeline maintenance is and the russians' track record - Absolutely!

Im thinking along those lines also. Russia is anti globalism. No way are they giving up sovereignty to any global government. Russia is in the way of "progress"" The Europeans bought it. The Chineese will go along until they dont.

That is not the sort of failure that occurs from shoddy maintaining.
Explosions, sure, at pumping stations and so forth. But not in the middle of a pipe under water with nobody around.
Explosions in the middle of a pipe? Sure, if someone is digging and hits it, or something like that, but not spontaneously on their own.
And Kursk and Chernobyl didn't happen at such opportune times either. The timing of this one is as uniquely unlikely as the circumstances.
A 1 in a million failure is unlikely, but believable.
But a 1 in a million failure happening at the same time as 1 in 1000 coincidence with a war and gas shortage becomes a 1 in a billion failure That's just not believable.
