Things are heating up on Polish-Ukrainian border. Polish farmers are intercepting Ukrainian grain shipments and dumping grain on the road. Ukrainian farmers hold protests on their side. Ass wiping with Polish flag has been reported.
My sympathies should lie with the Ukranians - but they don't.

For a fairly long period in my life Russia was, while not exactly a close ally, was indeed friendly to the USA.
In a world filled with enemies, including Iran, China, etc., a working relationship with Russia was beneficial to us.

I grew up in the Cold War. I remember all the "Soviet Union is evil" stuff that was stated.
Then I saw the Soviet Union collapse and we somehow managed to have a cordial relationship with Russia.
But now it's back to all of the propaganda slander of the 80s. And all because we decided to launder money through a Country whose leader we deposed to put our own puppet in and forced them to break their treaty with Russia.
Can't wait to see what future history books write about this time.

There aren't that many people needed. During WWII Abwehr saboteurs were a huge problem, that was with guilty on suspicion unless proven innocent approach.
