This actually is a valid statement. You don't deny the cops opened doors and invited protesters in and therefore you reason they should be indicted or fired for aiding and abetting. Fine, I won't argue that. [Here is where I agreed with you]

Are you even remotely interested in asking yourself why they haven't been indicted or fired? [This is the question you don't want to consider] I mean, after all, they aided in disrupting a critical sanctified official endeavor. No arrests or firings is hard to believe. What if these cops were sympathizers or perhaps even closet Oathkeepers? I would think they would want to root that out. It really is a non-sequitur. [No reply given to these points]

Since nothing happened, is it such a stretch to consider the potential that their actions were condoned (if not outright sanctioned) because it provided a desired optic? [Again no answer] Only an avowed boot-licker would deny the potential, which is about where I expect you'll be. But if you can take that leap, then Pelosi (through Paul Irving) turning down the request for National Guardsmen at the Capitol also becomes suspect. Was it to help set the stage? The optic we got was best served by having weak security - can you deny that? [No answer given, except to imply what I believe] Not that this thing needed to be planned to a granular degree, it just needed to be massaged enough to achieve options for a preferred narrative. But now you are trying to deflect from it with this below. So what about it? How does that apply to cops that by your own reasoning should have been fired, but weren't? It doesn't. They obviously aren't mutually exclusive. Both happened, but your original comment had nothing to do with protesters breaking in, besides that, they were arrested, the question based on your own observation is why weren't those that aided and abetted them arrested or at least fired?

So you believe there was a pre-planned conspiracy to allow a violent mob into the Capital building, due to the obvious optics it would create. Got any evidence or communications proving this?

What about the protestors breaking windows and doors so as to get into the building? What about the video of police doing their very best to physically prevent the mob from getting into an entry way?

Instead of answers or anything meaningful you just assume what I and others think. Truth is, I don't know what to think, but to find the truth I know I have to consider all possibilities even those that challenge me. And your statement led me to an aspect of this that has bothered me, so you make a point but then don't want to pursue it - so then don't bother posting it. It's the details of the "how" and the "why" that aren't all that trustworthy.

You can either study history, or trust the government. You can't do both.

When someone asks you *why* you believe something, and you fall into "well, it's obvious, anyone who doesn't believe it is crazy" but don't have any actual evidence other than testimonials from the likes of Joe Isuzu then you have to admit that you don’t really know, and it's just an article of faith for you.

Also about joining the military I thought about it I really did, but I decided I can not shoot and kill people for no good reason just because my government told me to do it. I never want to kill anyone but if I ever HAVE to it will be in direct defense of some one else’s life that I can see. I will not invade another country and kill its citizens.
