Not paying too much attention to what is obvious political theater. I do wonder if they will gag-order Trump and all around him?

In my opinion that would be election interference in the GOP primary but could easily be explained as there is precedent with other cases and no outrage from the public over those.

If you've ever spoken with educated people in the legal field they always discuss precedent. As if it matters more than the actual law or constitution. They acknowledge corrupt judges but often fail to connect the dots that these judges often create the precedent. Their minds kind of lock up when I take the discussion there. It is a real efficient way of exposing their political leaning they often try to hide. Thats a pro tip lol

because this case will be a major point in the 2024 election, and a gag order would mean all discussion of it would be one sided.

Since the gag order would apply to Trump, and the prosecution team, but not to the media in general, the MSM will be able to throw any wild accusations they want about it, and Trump would be legally prevented from defending himself.

Now, how the gag order would affect people around him remains to be seen.

If I were Trump, I would purposefully and LOUDLY defy the gag order if its issued.

They flagrantly let Hillary skate on letting highly classified documents out of highly secured facilities through her aids and through her secret server while she ran for president against Trump. That bitch ran intelligence operations, with the collusion of our own government, against Trump and all the rest of us for his entire term, including Operation WuFlu.

I don't really have any of respect for the man after he took part in perpetuating the WuFlu lie, and I'm not interested in seeing him in office again because I don't trust him not to waffle when he shouldn't. He's still claiming his fucking "Operation Warpseed" has "saved millions of lives," for God's Sake!

Defiance against tyranny is the only option at this point for all us, including Trump. This is epic level legal shenanigans and interference with an election, just like 2020 was. The contrast between how Trump has been treated versus how Hillary/Xiden/Obama were treated by Federal and State by law enforcement is CRYSTAL CLEAR. Crimes committed by one party are winked and nodded at, while our side always take the brunt of the consequences for even minor legal or elections "oopsies."

This is a "gird your loins" moment in American history for all of us, not just him.

A gag order in this case will not be just about this NY City "Bull Shit."

First order of business is to make him clam up on the "witch hunt," which is vastly more than just this case, ans is just the latest iteration of it. They want to make him stop pointing out how corrupt the government was during his term and toward him after the fact. That is Yuge, as Trump might put it.

Secondly, lest we forget, Trump is facing prosecution after they raided his house for "classified documents," while at the same time its come out that Chairman Xiden has been doing the same thing for decades. A Trump indictment in this NY City case might serve as a predicate to gag him in that case as well. Maybe I'm off base here, maybe not.

This absolutely will constrain him on many topics in his campaign. How is he going to freely talk about the Deep State when the they can use that in court to make the case that the victim, excuse me, "defendant" is railing against the "system" of "JustUs" that he has been hauled before in two ongoing investigations and prosecutions? As a matter of technicality in the law, its probable that any claims on such grounds in the NY City case or the "National Archives" bullshit could not so broadly and generally constrain his speech, but anyone want to take odds on the over/under that rogue NY judges or the Feds in the "National Archives" case wouldn't use ANY speech Trump makes about the Deep State as a predicate to silence and jail him? They are openly SALIVATING to put Trump in manacles and stick him in a cell.

Furthermore, by gagging Trump they take away the only potent weapon he has (besides his money, which theoretically buys good lawyers): to whit, his mouth. Trump is not one to toe the politically correct line most politicians go by. They want Trump to run his mouth now that they have got him in their own venue, away from the large political rallies he speaks at, and away from his supporters.

Which leads to the ultimate blockade against his campaign: finding a way to silence him, even if that means putting him in jail for contempt of court, perhaps even in more than one venue depending on how this case in NY interacts and plays into the Fed case against him on the "National Archives" horseshit. Tough to campaign from a jail cell, especially if Trump refuses to play by their rules repeatedly (and thereby progressively incurring harsher terms of a gag order or jailing for contempt of court).

People are saying that his is going to backfire on the Demscum, but I'm honestly not sure about that. There is a sizable part of our population of know nothings that would love the political theater of seeing one of the elite face "Justice," and a good portion of that population that hate Trump no matter what he does or says because they themselves are mind-numbed Descum robots.

An even darker theory? If they can goad Trump to run his mouth and wind up in a NY City jail for an extended period while he refuses to abide by a gag order?

Epsteined. Suicided. Beat to within an inch of his life and brain damaged by other inmates or guards, so roughed up he retires from politics and society in general.

I don't see any of this ending well, nor do I see Trump in the White House again, even if that means they stop him by hook or by crook.

My issue with this article is not the premise, so much as it is the author's naive take on our precious government departments and agencies.

Americans need to take the blinders off. I suppose its easier to point fingers at foreign powers than it is our own nation, especially when we have beem whistling past the graveyard for at least the past several decades.

Spencer is a scholar I respect most of the time on the subject he's built his career on (islam and jihad), so I don't want to be too harsh. Unfortunately, he has been soft on our own government in the past, and on the rainbow mafia as well.

Between that and the fact that people are waking up to the BS to a certain extent, this may actually work out in his favor to have the kinder, gentler Trump on display, not that I minded the other Trump one bit.

"Lock her up" became a bad joke, one that is still not funny and one which is still plagueing the man who ran on it and the rest of the nation. The Clintons have been hip deep in the Deep State operations against Trump from before the day he won the office of the presidency to the present.
