BDinPutnam is a good guy... He handles a difference in opinion in a mature way... IMHO
He doesn't try to browbeat someone to death to see things his way. He excepts someone's opinion as their opinion.
But will offer his counter opinion and then that is usually the end of it. None of the post after post of I AM RIGHT and you're ignorant if you do not agree with that.

He and I are not exactly on the same page but yet we seem to get along just fine.

What's that have to do with the question asked (why would trump run for 8 years if he didn't love America?) The answer is to avoid prison. Are you saying the NY AG didnt file legal action? You cant file anything you want, you aren't a prosecutor (to my knowledge anyways). You could sue someone in civil court, but not criminal court - you aren't the state. With that in mind the NY AG is consequential in convictions of criminal offences, so yeah what they do matters. I don't think you are stupid, it's pretty obvious what could come of that. Of course, like any other criminal case it's not what you know but what you can prove.

The AG is suing in civil court, and it is clearly identified in the referenced civil filing for those who bothered reading it. So ... @Chevusa

The current filings are for discovery for potential criminal filings in the future. That's what's happening. Not saying I necessarily agree with it, but if you don't think the NY AG isn't going to try to nail Trump if he loses in 2020... well, I have a bridge for sale.

This attitude belies a very dangerous concept.

Her idea of "the state" and ours are in direct conflict.

This is how civil wars happen. When 2 different factions both claim to represent the legitimate government.

If the POTUS and half the legislature are "enemies of the state", that means those same people can call the rest of the government "enemies of the state".

Now you've got 2 "states" that are diametrically opposed. If the increasingly fragile conflict resolution mechanism fails to produce an answer that both sides will accept, there is only one outcome.

The NY AG said when she took office, "Im going after everything and anything with the name Trump on it"

so basically, she is on a which hunt/fishing expedition. she is just wasting NY Tax payer money because apparently she has nothing else to do and has a severe case of Trump Derangement Syndrome.

Thanks for clearing that up. From your tone earlier I thought you were drooling over it. As far as what she is gearing up to do, not very concerned. People gear up to do many things that turn out to be BS lol. I'm sure Pelosi, Schiff, Nadler and the rest of the circus are gearing up to do things against Trump as I type this.
