HAHAHAHAHAHahahahahaa.....This REGISTRY of citizens resembles the book of Revelations. Good luck getting compliance for that one here!
Seriously?

Like I've said before, you wont get your Freedom back until you fight for it like explained here. The Bundy's made that happen. @Marine Cpl wanted you to see this.
This right here. You are on the right track, but it’s actually Congress that is the problem here. They refuse to work together to do their job, and allow the Executive to do their job for them. In the same manner our state legislators are the ones to thank for the dictatorial powers Cuomo currently enjoys. They gave it to him.
To be honest, we could have stopped passing new criminal law altogether 50 years ago and we'd be better off for it.This right here.
For something to pass through the house and senate it has to be something they can agree on.
That doesnt happen anymore.
If the Republicans want it, the dems wont even read it, they automatically disagree and refuse to vote.....and vice versa with the dems proposals.
Then, heaven forbid Trump wants something. 100% of dems instantly and in concert scream RACIST!!!
Leaving laws to congress right now will go nowhere. Both sides immediately and very loudly dismiss anything proposed by the other side.
YepTo be honest, we could have stopped passing new criminal law altogether 50 years ago and we'd be better off for it.
Sweet you're digging your self into a hole the first thing to do is put down the shovel.
We are in a very deep hole at this point.
So, gridlock in Washington is a good thing.
It's already being rolled out. They make people wear masks, just replace masks with the vaccine. Forced compliance. This REGISTRY of citizens resembles the book of Revelations. Good luck getting compliance for that one here!
Well playedLike your social security number?
Shameful that "We the people" don't get a say in this.Speaking of which...
BREAKING: After demands from BLM, Republican Iowa Governor to sign executive order granting voting rights to felons.
And they won't order you to get the vaccine. It's already being rolled out. They make people wear masks, just replace masks with the vaccine. Forced compliance.
At both the state and federal level, the executive branch keeps sidestepping the constitution by issuing executive orders instead of letting laws be written by the congress. If we keep letting this happen, we will end up without the inalienable rights that were written into the Constitution. These rights were supposed to be protected by the balance of power between the three branches, and defended by an informed public. The president and governor are taking away our rights little by little.
The acceleration is sickening. If the presidents feel like they can sidestep congress whenever they don't agree, there will soon be no purpose in a congress and we will have dictatorship. The latest executive order claims powers expressly given to congress. Even if people agree with what he's doing, we should all have a problem with how it's being done.It just seems that executives are more emboldened--almost frivolous--in issuing order after order. The concern has always been that there are no checks on this power. The use of this power seems to be accelerating as citizens watch.
They should be limited in scope and only needed for a direct threat or emergency. That would disqualify almost all of them. And they should all expire quite quickly ensuring legislators have time to vet the order. If they don't, it dies.I'll say it again.
The moment you pass an EO, you should be removed from office. You must then prove it was nessisary to prevent the direct, imminent threat to the US. Guilty until proven innocent. (Innocent until proven guilty is for the citizens, not government.)
All EOs automatically expire in 24 hours. Plenty of time for congressional approval.
It should be such a dire thing to do it should never be done.
I like the thought. Senate would have to be 12 years to be two terms. I would probably say no more than two terms in any one position. That way an ex senator that becomes president could still run for reelection. This idea of career politicians has to end, but for that to happen, more people would have to become involved in civics. The first step is TERM linits for all elected positions, especially the house and senate. No more than 8 years for a senator, 6 years for the house, and no more than 10 years combined elected political service.
My idea is to change it to 2-4yr terms for the senate. 6 year terms is too much.I like the thought. Senate would have to be 12 years to be two terms. I agree with the original intent. I just don't have a lot of faith in most of the common people I see around me. There is no interest in finding out how things work or how they can be changed. Most just want to complain based on the third (4th, 5th) party information they got in their social media feed. Those are the common people. My idea is to change it to 2-4yr terms for the senate. 6 year terms is too much.
The original intent was for common people to hold these positions for a short while and then go back to their normal lives. We dont need lawyers to be politicians. We need common people.

2 year and 6 year terms are there by design so that congressional seats are up for re-election in by-years when the president isn't up for re-election.
Better than term limits is no back to back terms.I like the thought. Senate would have to be 12 years to be two terms. I would probably say no more than two terms in any one position. No problem, set up the four years Senate terms to alternate with the presidential elections.2 year and 6 year terms are there by design so that congressional seats are up for re-election in by-years when the president isn't up for re-election.
I would be okay with back to back terms only because people generally suck at their job at first. Two terms gives them a chance to do a good job, then they can leave.Better than term limits is no back to back terms.
You can serve as many years as you can get elected, but no incumbents ever. And no bouncing back and forth between house and senate either.

Honestly I'm not sure we *want* people that are good at the parts of those jobs that you have to learn OJT.That may be true.....but if you are still sucking at the 1 year mark (out of 4) I'm not sure you should have the opportunity for a second term.......
How do we put the genie back in the bottle? And cork it? And bury it under tons of magma to never be seen again? That tinpot dictator in Michigan is apparently now writing Executive Orders pertaining to the enforcement of other Executive Orders.
