This is not a good sign. If walmart can be made to cave in to political pressure then others can as well. It's another step to restricting gun ownership.

Looks like I will have to make some bulk purchases sooner than I had planned.

Apparently that's what they're doing marking down selling out inventory according to news reports from CEO

I live in a small town. Walmart is.pretty much the only retailer. Kmart is gone. For ammo there is a local retailer that sells guns, ammo, hunting supplies. It's in the next county but worth the drive.

We've moved virtually all our grocery shopping to Aldi's over the last few months. Aldi is much less expensive, quality is equal or better and, the biggie, almost everything is always in stock. Wal-Mart's supply chain doesn't work, period. Whether it's in-store or on-line. And it's been that way for years.

And meat??!! Anyone who buys their chops, burger, roasts, etc at Wal-Mart is just trolling for a nice bacterial or parasitic infection. It's garbage, always has been.

As far as they're new policy goes, meh. For whatever reason, a lot of companies are allowing corporate policy to be dictated by Maoist ideologues. That won't work. Watch the next few months...I'll bet they get "asked" to change a lot of stuff.

Just like everyone that is right of center, corporation or individual, the Maoists want you to submit, or die.

Wal-Mart just committed corporate seppuku. And YES, I do know how Wal-Mart works. Better than most...at least I've worked there. Mrs. prambo worked there for 9 years. We know exactly how it works.

Powder Valley has/had free hazmat on $190 orders, so about 8 lbs. of powder.
Even if you do not reload buying components will give you barter for ammo or you can have someone who reloads make ammo for you.

Cobleskill has a WalMart, and I have never purchased ammunition nor firearms from there, so screw them.

The grocery angle is interesting. After the floods, Schoharie County had only two supermarkets; Price Chopper and Walmart. Can you imagine? IN THE WHOLE COUNTY. Now though, there's a new store in Middleburg and a Sav-a-lot in Cobleskill. I remember Mrs. Obama squawking about "food deserts", what a joke. Price Gypper is a ripoff and WalMart, well, it was said above.

This latest has been added to our list of reasons to leave messed-up New York. Maine has just approved constitutional carry, New Hampshire has our attention.

Kind of off topic but we have gone from wegmans to aldi + Walmart grocery pickup. Walmart for certain things and aldi for others. I do like its online grocery ordering. We live very close to wegmans but it really is cheaper at these other places.
