Your good guys, bad guys, rules don't apply to the real world. Sometimes the good guys actually do bad things.

Nobody gives one shit whether you like those people or not, that's not how it works. Im not a fan either. But you cannot let your personal prejudices , dislikes, determine whether or not they can fire on intruders . A long time ago the founding fathers determined the right of self defense of all living things and the right to life liberty . Those principles were enshrined in our laws and Some are now international law. Whether you like it or not, The Gazans have every right under international law to defend themselves.

The people in Gaza have not submitted, As is their right to do so. Hence the hostilities are on going still .

As far as strapping on suicide vests , Im pretty sure they would prefer a large scale cruise missile attack followed up by an intense Ariel bombardment and an armored attack . But they have no means to do any of that. They fight with what they have. They lack the ability and the funds to effectively defend themselves and come up with make shift weapons and whatever they can smuggle through the walls or the blockade. Israel attacking what pretty much amounts to a militia is honorable? Ok Will.

And Ill bet you a paycheck that Israel has killed far more civilians in Gaza then Gazans have killed Israelis . Don't even go down that road.

Even animals have a right to self defense. The law is not on your side in this .

The world sees the US as hypocrites , We've lost our credibility when we attack Saddam Hussein in 91 for violations of international law and invade his country on legal grounds, then stand by and do nothing when our allies violate the law. You think the world doesn't see that? You think the world doesn't see that the US funded and allowed the Kurds to invade Northern Syria? You think the world doesn't see that assassinating foreign leaders is also a war crime?

Over the whole summer Israel had bombed Syrian troops and targets on an almost daily basis while the US press was silent . Assad never took the bait and never retaliated. He endured an illegal bombing campaign and never retaliated, mainly because he could never hold off an Israeli invasion. Not because he is a nice sweet Allah fearing man. They were trying to slow down the progress of the Syrian army.

Its about right and wrong, not who I like more.I don't care if the finger of guilt points to the cops the president or another country .If they break the law Im calling them on it.

If Mexico didn't want to submit to the loss of Texas, Arizona, California, Nevada, New Mexico, and Colorado and they didn't have the means to take back their lost land because they didn't have cruise missiles and fighter jets like you say, you think it's okay for them to take trips into the US and blow themselves up on buses killing innocent people and children going to work and school rather than doing it to military targets?

Do you think it would be okay for them to lob mortars and rockets into people's homes in Arizona killing innocent people and children rather than fighting military targets?

And when that starts happening and the US sends commando raids to assassinate higher ups in the Mexican People's Liberation Army which is a known terrorist group, will the US be wrong like you say? How about after many innocent people in homes are destroyed in Arizona from rockets and mortars and we bomb these terrorist leaders who set up bases in schools and other places on purpose putting their own people in danger, would we be wrong?

What would be your solution @holdover to an enemy that doesn't play fair and his 100 percent focus is on killing American civilians? Should we just take it? Should we just give them back the land that we've held for generations already?

Get real Holdover. You are either seriously naive or an anti-semite. They lost. They don't have the means to win. The better man won. They don't have a real military. They know they can't win. Their whole M.O. is killing civilians out of spite. The world recognizes Israel as a country as it currently is just like they recognize the United States as a country as it currently is and Mexico as a country as it currently is.

Stop being foolish already. You are saying that it's okay to specifically target civilians because they lost and are equating collateral damage via Israel from human shields being used by Hamas as the same thing.

You go with your wife to Palestine and I'll go with mine to Israel and we'll see what happens to us and who the real enemy is. You won't last a day there before they do horrific things to you and your wife compared to my trip at the Sheraton in Haifa.

Oh. And stop the B.S already about how we are such bad people that commit atrocities too to give the Palestinians a pass on what they do. Yes. We have committed atrocities. Every single county has. But we are nowhere near at the level they are at. They strap bombs to their children for Christ's sake.

After all is said and done, we are one of the better ones despite our faults and whether you think so or not, the world respects us and even if they think we've done bad things, they still want to come and live here became of how we treat our people.

Who knows, but it seems like there is always constant violence between Israel and it's neighbors. For the most part it's been proxy terrorists groups fighting more or less on behalf of a nation-state (like Hamas is really a proxy for Iran) but it the full-fledged power of the adjoining nation states comes to bear who knows what will happen. Might be another Six Day War or Yom Kippor War.

I just finished a book on geopolitical trends. The author predicts the next war in the middle east will be between Iran and Saudi Arabia.

Terrorism is against the international law of warfare. They have appealed to the world court, they have appealed to the US ,In lieu of having no other means to strike at the enemy what other recourse do they have? The Israelis have conducted a land and sea blockade against them . Are they supposed to just except this blockade as just? To do everything Israel demands of them ?

Forget the labels for minute and pretend these are different countries , what do you expect people to do? Accept their fate at the hands of a foreign power?

Accept defeat. Not target civilians. Rebuild their country in it's current state just like Mexico did. Come on dude. Really?

And I provided already examples of different countries using Mexico and the USA as an example which you refuse to acknowledge.

What should we do if Mexico behaved like the Palestinians? Just take it? Give them back their land? Or would you be okay with sending commando units to take out their leaders that lob mortars into Arizona homes?

You are justifying their terrorism because you have a personal distaste for the Israelis. It's sickening.

I do not care either way; positive or negative about either group of people.

I see this as simple....

People of Israel attack in one way or another the people of Gaza.

People of Gaza hit back anyway they can.

It is not a hard enough hit so the Jewish people hit again.

Neither side is innocent in this game they both continue to play.

Both sides are guilty.
