I like plain vanilla. I habitually debadge my cars, even. Unobtrusive or not readily memorable is, to me, preferable over expressing a viewpoint or ideology engraved in metal. Function takes precedence over form for me...the money that could be spent on, say, a nice AR lower with a prominent "FUAC" on it, or worse, the ones with a skull forming the mag well, would be better spent on operating enhancements (better trigger, better barrel, higher quality components), or improving the software component via range sessions, training and the like.
But that's just me...

I think these inscriptions are just as stupid as bumper stickers. 
While I don't do bumper stickers, in fact my truck has only two identifiing features, the bowtie on the grill, only because I would need an aftermarket one to get rid of it and an American Flag on the tailgate. I debadged it the day after I picked it up. I like the clean look, no body side moldings, nothing.I think these inscriptions are just as stupid as bumper stickers.
The dust covers are just a personal touch, nobody really sees them anyway.
