Looking at lights for a full size handgun. I'm liking the new Inforce WILD 2 and the Streamlight TRL9. Huge 1,000 lumen output with fairly high candela yet fairly slimline design. I'd rather they'd take a single 18650 instead of 2 CR123s.

The TLR 9 is dumb
Only 10k candela which is 1,200 or so less than the 1,000 lumens x300u which honestly also has a super low candela output
Honestly the only real options for a full size handgun are in order

Honestly with how bad inforce is I won't even consider their new offering even with the solid almost 30k candela

Seriously last update I know of was 1st quarter 2021 which is now.
This, lol. There hasn't been an update since the last update last month saying end of Q1 but honestly who knows unfortunately
Cory won’t give exact dates which I can understand. You don’t want to 100% set a date and then set yourself up for failure when you’re not able deliver the quantity or quality of parts. Then you’re pushing back the date and it starts to look bad. There is not much worse for a company than to have one of the most sought after pieces of kit get released and it doesn’t live up to the hype or standards. As annoying as it is, Modlite is doing the right thing and making sure when they are released that they will be delivering the best product that they possibly can with as little issues as possible. Modlite is just as anxious and excited to deliver the product as we are to get our little meat hooks on them. As Cory has said “SoonIsh.... it’s a moving target and the most important thing in my life right now. It’s ready when I say it’s ready and we are working as a company to make it happen as soon as we can.” With all that said, I’m in the same boat as the rest of you. I want to get my hands on a PL350 pretty bad and I’m hanging in there as well.....Soon™
Even better question: How long I wonder till the are holsters that will fit it?
Duty holsters.. right out of the gate (many/most)
Other carry holsters. Should be right out of the gate or super early, @Will555 may be able to confirm but I believe Cory stated that many top brand holster companies are getting the PL350 before launch so they can get started on holster production
Cory has said to reach out to your holster companies and see if they can contact Modlite to see if they can work out the moldings. Though there will be holster companies that will already have it in place and ready to go during the PL350 launch (probably the high end companies that you would think about reaching out to). The current Safariland 6xxx light bearing holsters will be good to go 100% out of the box. But for specifically molded holsters like kydex AIWB or any of the others that are molding to the X300/X300U will not work. Not sure if I had mentioned before but each PL350’s will come with a set of PHLSTR ARC paddles so the end user and choose paddle length as well.
