Damn Weasels, little bastards killed about 35 of my friends Pheasants and a hand full of his chickens! Short of setting up red lights to see them come in at 3am, anyone have any tricks to get them? Once in a while I've seen them during the day while out deer hunting, but he's got them on camera in the middle of the night.
I don't trap but at this point it may not matter, they are killing his livestock for the thrill of the kill. The only trap I have is a live trap anyway and the trip levers may just freeze up.
I told him I'd try to shoot them with my 22 but not seeing them during the day will be an issue.
Will those little bastards get turned on by a mouse squeaker or something?

We're pretty sure where they're getting in so that part is good. I sat for a little while tonight squeaking like a mouse and didn't see anything but his rabbits and a cotton tail. Already have rat traps, just add bait.
I'd like to rig up a LED flood light to light up a big area if battery power would last long enough, I have a spare 12v car battery. Then I could sit there for hours waiting to see them for a good shot. I wanted that NV scope Holdover had but just didn't have the money. It would have been perfect for this
