Well, My 2 cents. The new gun laws signed and effective this September make it almost impossible to carry anywhere in the State. There has been no opposition to this and the safe act from Judicial Watch...GOA..local attorney's..NY Pistol..etc

A person can go through all the new rules and the permit is mostly worthless. A permit or BG check for ammunition. They must know that most mass shootings have been indoors at almost every place they have restricted.

Taxes...corruption...Constitutional Rights trashed, are just a few of the reasons NY State has a negative growth ratio.

I'd like to think that opposition to this last round is being worked on. Good strategy is to not play your hand, grandstand or boast. This way the 5th column journalist can't block, poison and slander as things go forward.

Can’t really challenge anything legally until it is passed into law. See what the next month or two brings. And like you said, don’t want to show your hand too soon legally. You would think nysrpa, fpc, goa would want to ride the momentum of the Supreme Court decision.

It will not survive scrutiny by the SCOTUS which the law basically makes carrying impossible!

It's a nice knee jerk Linda Blair head spin reaction, but is so far off the train tracks, it's laughable!

Like they said, NOTHING CHANGES!!!

I'M not changing a fucking thing, not am I worrying about it at all. If I become a test case, so be it, I will ride it to the highest courts.

That is all!

Carry on and have a great time! I will pursue happiness and not live by permission the State bestows upon me!

As mentioned before they seemed to have a list of places where mass shootings have occurred and singled these places out for banning CC.
How many places serve food and alcohol ? Perhaps 95 % ... Maybe a breakfast diner. will not . Most any activity where one will go to socialize is banned. They have designed this list as to discourage anyone from carrying . or even applying for a permit

The Gov has effectively eliminated all conceal carry in NY. I wonder how long this has been sitting on the sideline in anticipation of the recent ruling of the SCOTUS. This vindictive legislation makes the SAFE Act appear tame.

I will say this -- when you take a law abiding man and make him into a felon, who is otherwise not bothering anyone or doing anything illicit, then you remove any inhibitions he may have to obey in the name of safety.

If you push people against a wall, then you'll leave them with few options.

What are you talking about.
The law was signed just two days ago. Republicans had no say in the matter. Whatever the democrats wrote was getting passed to the Governor period .
GOA, NRA or any other court challenges can only start after the law is passed. Then they have to read it and figure out important things like when to file so it goes before certain judges if possible. Hopefully they will get an injunction next week

And what about past laws like the "safe Act" Signed sealed and delivered 8 years ago and all organizations have done dick to oppose it.

I appreciate a half full guy over a half empty but it's been 8 years since the crap act was passed so one would like to think all the organizations one has in mind would work on it a bit faster.

Well theres a glass half full outlook.It seems Bruen is what bought about this crap. Not saying Bruen is/was a bad thing but we make some small progress and they hit back twice as hard.Its gonna be a long hard fight, every time we make any small gain they will throw out the most ridiculous anti gun regs and drain our resources.These fuckers have unlimited funds it seems with the likes of Soros and Bloomberg leading the charge.

Nope. They made exemption for retired POLICE officers . And they made an exemption for LEOSA.
Peace officers don’t have an exemption but could qualify for one under LEOSA
