Hey all, just curious if anyone has submitted an amendment request and if so have you gotten your approval yet? Trying to gauge lead time as I’m anxious to pick up my new gun.

I mailed in an amendment early last week (sold one). They probably got it last Wednesday or Thursday. They just cashed the check today. I'll update if I get it anytime soon.
As soon as my amendment comes in, I'm going to flip a coin on two I'm torn between buying with the money from the one I sold.

I submitted mine on May 4. So let’s see what happens. The judges have no trials really so I imagine they should be able to process quicker

I'm looking to sell one handgun and buy another so before I do so I called the Westchester County Pistol Licensing Division office today to see what the timeline may be. I was told by one of the clerks that they would process the paperwork, cash the check and put it on one of the judge's desks. He said the problem is the judges have not been in for 2 months and don't know when they will return. I'm sure when they do return they will sit on these like they normally do. I hate to buy a gun and have it sit in some gun store safe for months until I get the amendment.

I feel the same about having a new gun sit in a store for months. That's why I sold the one and decided to wait until I get my amended license back with that pistol removed before buying a new one. Over 2 weeks so far and still waiting.

Patiently waiting to receive my amendment as well , I called and the lady said that amendments where sitting
on judges desks so maybe next week when they return we'll begin to see some movement .

I sent mine in mid March right after things closed down. I hadn't gotten my amendment as of yesterday and emailed them this morning. I was told mine went out yesterday and I was one of the lucky ones where the judge signed off on it. It was in my mailbox today.

Great to hear there's some movement in this gummed-up, crooked system.
Did you add a pistol ? bcz I put in an amendment in February before anything was closed do to the coronavirus and I still didn't recieved an answer..my amendment is for removal of my restrictions

I spoke to the Westchester County Clerk's office on Tuesday.
She said although the office is still closed for walk ins some
judges are working and are signing handgun permit amendments.

Btw, from a previous post of yours the forum lists below for me as a "similar thread", you said you were considering adding a 5th pistol to your permit and were wondering about the home inspection. Is this your 5th and did they ask to do the home inspection?

Dropped off my amendment on Monday July 6th. at the Westchester Courthouse drop box.
My check was cashed Wednesday July 8th.
Received my amendment in the mail on Thursday July 23rd.
Picked up another Glock 19 Gen5 at Hunter Sports in Massapequa on Friday July 24th.
Waiting for Holosun 508T-V2-GR from Optic Planet.
Then I'll send the gun to L&M Precision Gunworks in Lakeview, NC to mill
the slide, install the red dot and Ameriglo suppressor height night sights.
