We went to show our support, The line was long and wrapped around the building, took less then 20 minutes to get in. It was your typical show except it was packed inside. Seen lots of CT plates in the parking lots. I purchased about 30 dollars worth of stuff from the vendors just to make a purchase. one row one of the vendors pushed there tables further into aisle make a narrow aisle even more narrow and impossible to shop. looked like he had plenty of room to move around behind his tables and I hope it cost him sales. I wish I would have bought a Hillary for prison sign or two to have .
Lastly I owe some one a big thank you , I went with my brother inn law and as we are walking around the show he noticies he is missing his Phone. He says I must of left it in the truck, Well after the show we get to my truck and as I am opening my car door I notice a Phone on his side of the truck on the windshield wiper. He must of dropped it when we were exciting the truck or securing his firearm in my truck safe and some one must of seen it on the floor next to my truck and put it up on the windshield so we would see it. Well perfect spot we seen it and THANK YOU .

I spent about $160, mostly at DD's for a bunch of AR parts and a stock. The prices really werent a deal but it worked out about the same as if i ordered them online and had to pay for shipping. I guess it was a matter of saving the hassle of shipping. Other than that I really didn't see too much quality parts, optics and knives there, which I was all in the market for. And some of the rifles I looked at were grossly over priced. Overall it was a typical gun show.

Everything was 20-30% inflated. Every gun i looked at new or old were at least $200 more then usual. Some tables were charging tax with cash deals an no receipt. It was really a rip off show but glad to see the record breaking crowds

Since when? As far as I know, they charge $10 admission fee (and also as far as their website knows) and parking on the street is free.

I wound up driving to Saratoga County with my son on Friday instesd of Saturday so missed this one. Went to the Albany show, $5 to park and I think it was $7 to get inside. Sold 2 guns there and bought an iced tea and a t-shirt. Left with lots of cash im my pockrt and smile on my face.

Parking at the county center is always $10 for any event, even the reptile show, WWE events and basketball events. Thats since when. I am at the county center at least every other month for shows and kids events and the parking price has always been the same. Event admission prices vary obviously. With the cars i drive I prefer to park in the parking lot because the area around the center is all low income housing. You park where you want but you get what you pay for at your own risk. I'll continue to pay the $10 for a little added security for my car.

The area around the county center is not bad at all. I grew up in wp. You can park on central ave or maybe sneak behind city limits diner. Chatterton ave is not bad as well. Its not the ghetto

It has always looked pretty nice to me around there. Never had a problem parking on the street as long as doing it legally which is what I do. Definitely not a "low income area".
The fact also still remains, the reptile show and gun show do not charge the same for their admission fees.

Street parking a'plenty by the diner this last time. I couldn't believe the mobs waiting to shell out 10 bucks to park. I put in 8 bits and my walk to the venue was closer.
Of course the show was awful but that's a different issue.

Since I went to Saratoga County, you can add the NYS Thruway and Tapan Zee bridge to that list of tolls for me. I wanted to drive each way on the Taconic but traffic was bad on it on Friday and the weather was threatening on Monday so I played it safe on 87. I have not looked at the EZ Pass charges but imagine they amounted to a large chunk of change.
