So yesterday I rode my motorcycle down to the train station. Coming back from work I was struggling in the rain to get the bike going as fast as I could. It starts and makes that erection forming sound that I love. Alll of a sudden I hear "fuck you and fuck your bike". I look over and it's a street thug just repeatedly yelling "fuck you and fuck your bike". I stop and make a gesture asking "what the fuck did we do to you ". He starts approaching saying "you wanna go, I'll take your bitch ass bike". I put my kick stand down and grabbed the blade handle zip tied to the side of the bike. I waited a few while he yelled more obscene things at me and "War Machine". I waited not to start anything but more so I wouldn't get shot in my back.

I got home and inspected my helmet, it looked like someone tried to pull it off the cable lock. This morning War Machine didn't want to start up. Should I have defended his honor? One more thug in the gutter?

I would've circled the block and then caught him off guard with a billy club to the face! bam!

You got home safely, and you didn't wind up in jail, so win/win. Why escalate things? You wanna end up the next Zimmerman? Or maybe you're not as fortunate and you end up in jail, perhaps prison, or in the ground.

You never should have stopped. I am not saying I necessarily would have gone on, I too can be a knucklehead, but it would have been best to get out of the situation. By the way, with all due respect, that is what you were for not riding away immediately; it is something too many of us (myself included) tend to become in such a situation. Please don't repeat any flawed logic about not wanting to get shot in the back, shooting a moving target is more difficult than shooting a stationary one and distance is your friend in such a confrontation.

If you don't have any throw away barrels for your semi auto pistols, buy a bunch. They can be easily melted into a blob of metal with oxy acetylene and then thrown in a lake. Remember: If your gun barrel does not forensically match to the bullet in some shitstain's head; you didn't commit a crime. It's just that simple.

I totall agree- I even have a monster size push bar on my F150 so that inner city scum won't fuck up my paint; and skid plates so their squishing heads don't get brains on my oil pan. Anyone that stops for an inner city assnozzle is doing it wrong.
