My preferred brand. I smoke Marlboro reds if I can't get American Spirits. I usually smoke the blue pack, but I wanted to try the orange. They are too light.

If I was carrying a Wilson Combat or Nighthawk then ok... Not a VP9, it's a common gun.
Carried my P320 M18 w/ Wilson Combat Grip, Streamlight TLR-7 and Romeo 1 Pro in my Werkz IWB holster.

I like your style there @RooftopKorean so I'll lay out my EDC options the same way.
A watch and the memorial bracelet go everywhere with me but the gym. Not always going to be my Luminox, but it's definitely my highest mileage watch.
I always carry a pen and a knife, the thin CRKT CEO being more regular than the Kershaw Decimus. The Streamlight usually comes along too, especially if I'm at work or out at night.
As far as handguns, my Sig P365 XMacro in a Tier1Concealment is my main carry, but I'll turn it into an XL for summer carry. The spare mag always goes in a pocket. When I want deeper concealment or a lighter gun, I bring the S&W 642 instead in a Mika holster – pocket or IWB – depending on the outfit. Rarely do I carry a reload for it, but when I do, it's loaded in a 6-round speed-strip. My Glock 23 or S&W 629 get the nod for the woods.
I mostly gave up cigs and dip years ago, so now I use nicotine pouches like women and children. The occasional cigar keeps my testosterone levels afloat.

I have tried so many times to kick the Dip.... I have failed.
I dip when I can't smoke cigarettes or cigars.

Those pouches got me to switch. I get the nicotine hit, they don't stain teeth, and they make your breath better. The stained teeth was what convinced me to switch. I'll still pack a lip on a hunt or a rugged hike though.
Finally with the arrival of my Ironside convertible IWB/OWB holster from T-Rex Arms I can Finally put the S&W Carry Comp Compact into my carry rotation.
Currently the holster is in IWB configuration and it is actually extremely comfortable that way, so much so that the only time I'd bother putting it back to OWB fashion would be for a training class. It's kind of a PITA to change configs besides.
I wish I could find a shoulder rig that could accommodate the comp so I could carry it at work too. Belt carry is too cumbersome for a trucker, I've tried it. Really digs into the love handles after hour 8 of the shift.

Carried this for the first time today and I’m absolutely amazed at the comfort level of a full sized handgun with the right holster. The “claw” with the WTP holster is absolutely key for me while appendix carrying . I’m a fan of them for sure. No problem concealing a full sized pistol with comfort not being an issue at all with the right holster taking your body shape into consideration
My daily EDC load out for the past full week. I find the T-Rex Arms Ironside hybrid IWB holster comfortable enough to wear over even a 12 hour shift behind the wheel, no small feat considering that in the past even carrying the G19 in a leather OWB holster became extremely uncomfortable over the same span.
I would still prefer a compatible shoulder rig that could accommodate the M&P as I have it equipped but I have yet to find something suitable.
Accompanying the Carry Comp is a horizontal OWB kydex magazine holder, a Spyderco Paramilitary 3 Lightweight folder (an excellent EDC blade) a Zebralight flashlight (also an excellent pocket light) and a TTI Charge Leatherman multitool. I actually use all this gear throughout my nightly shift, particularly the light which is an invaluable tool in my work. The knife and multitool are primarily useful for removing trailer seals.
Ah, not an option. I don't own the truck, I am not supposed to be carrying a gun at work. I cannot fix a holster to the interior.
And my biggest issue with belt carry at work is not so much one of comfort, the Ironside is sufficient, though not especially, comfortable for me to wear for long periods. The main issue is with the use of public restrooms which I must make nightly use of. Having a gun on your hip is cumbersome for such whereas a shoulder holster requires no additional thought when using the restroom.
That said I trade that inconvenience for the extra capabilities of gun equipped with a light and a red dot for nighttime use, which are considerable.
Perhaps "gun snob(ish)" would have been more appropriate.
