I have large palms with stubby fingers.Coonan, but only if you have BIG Hands!
They are both around $1800 I believe.Tough choice.
The Coonan is certainly more unusual.
The DW is more spendy I believe.
If I had no other 1911s I would go with the DW.
If it was an addition to a collection , Coonan.
Both of those pieces are so sweet go the cc and get em both. Then sell one later....lol yea right.
What is the difference between the Razorback and Valor? The Bruin is also really cool, but I'm not super keen on needing a bushing wrench for disassembly.I have no experience about the 357 autoloader, but the Dan Wessons are nice!!! The Valor it the top of the line and I have 2 friends that own them. Another option is a 10mm Dan. I

How is that any different than skeletonized triggers in other 1911s?Oh, do we really need to save weight by drilling them holes in the trigger ?
BOZO is looking for a gun - he wants a COONAN.
Perfect 50/50 split actually.Everyone knows that Coonan is the way to go

You dont like 1911s so you opinion does not count here.
How you figure that? It most definitely is.Well if you want to be technical about it a coonan isnt really by definition a 1911 soooooo

Then again it has a few updates that make it similar to a High Power. Which is also very cool.
1911 has also traditionally been offered in .38 Super and the preceding ancestor, the 1908, was chambered in .38 ACP so that is a silly argument.I mean if we are going to be technical (that's the key word there)
It's missing the .45acp

Nah, I got other stuff on the list after this.I'm just saying with said argument you can also get an actual 1911 and a coonan
I had a couple of 1911s in 38 super. I started shooting IPSC with a star modelo Super B that was rechambered from 9x23 Largo to 38 super. Then as I could afford it I purchased a Colt 1911 then a few years later converted it to a Para Ord frame kit. The 9x19 wasn't allowed in the Major Power Factor catagory but the 9x21 and the 38 Super could back when I was playing gun games. The factories started making 9mm rounds (9x23 Winchester, .356 TS&W) to compete in the major power factor catagory and eventually the 9x19 was allowed in the major catagory.1911 has also traditionally been offered in .38 Super and the preceding ancestor, the 1908, was chambered in .38 ACP so that is a silly argument.
