My county stopped accepting pistol permit applications because the judges complained that their jobs got harder. I don't have a lot of confidence in them bucking the system to protect my civil rights.

He doesn't need to reference case law at all. The new "laws" state specifically that its a felony to carry in sensitive places. The State Storm Troopers put it right out there that there will be "zero tolerance" on this.
Its always possible that a DA will allow it to be plead down, but there is absolutely no guarantee of that.
