You say NY tyrants but your whole comment was aimed at the FFL complying with the law. Are you going to have your lawyer send a letter to the NY tyrants notifying them of an incoming lawsuit, I bet not. That's the problem, we as gun owners bitch to ourselves and ffl's but don't take 2 minutes to bitch at their representatives directly. I personally contact the governor by email or phone call at least once a month but I'm one of the few when there are millions who just bitch to the choir. A store employee is just doing their job and has to constantly listen to the bitching, I'll keep bitching to those that made the law, will you?

I never said tyrants, I could have come up with a rotten name for them if I choose to but just remember everything you say can come back to haunt you, always keep your cards close to your vest. 2.The FFL didn't bring about the NYS ammo regulations, the NYS senate and assembly did, and the Govenor signed it into law.

I can agree with all of that but I'm just a crusty old man who, if I don't agree with someone especially a politician, I go right to the source and let them know. After 70+ years it is your right to not want to give a "phuck" anymore, but your original post said you were pissed at a store for following the law. They don't make the laws politicians do. By the way, there is no official form for ammo, each ffl can make their own form or they can just "interrogate" you while doing the background check. Unlike numerous special interest groups that rally constantly, we the gun owners are our own worst enemy. Unlike you, I have kids and grandkids who like to hunt and shoot and as long as I'm alive I will try my best to do whatever I can to make their future better no matter how futile my efforts.

Legally reservations are similar to states.
They have to follow the federal laws, but they get to make their own state level one.
So, NYS law and federal law should apply on the reservation as much as it does in PA.
In practice that gets a bit blurry, they aren't quite as independent from the states they are in as they should be.

I was in my LGS Saturday. It was right around 2Pm. There was a man sitting on a bench in the middle of the store since the doors opened at 10 am waiting for permission to take home his 2 boxes of 17hmr. He was still there at 4:15 when I came back to get something I forgot earlier. I told him Vermont and NH are only an hour away. He could have drove there and back 3 times. I’m not sure he ever got his ammo. Absolute ridiculousness

They did that to my buddy, 2 trips up to glens falls. They just are timing out permits and applications . Supposed to work for the taxpayers,, what few of us are left.
