I don't really care for that guy, and his title is misleading. The entire court denied it, not just her. Therefore no ability to appeal to Thomas as we had hoped.

I clearly see more than that. The two justices have already taken sides and agree with Judges Suddaby and Sinatra. (and Judge Bumb presumably.)
Any reason everyone didn't jump on board here? The original 6 voters in Bruen? Does this kind of say if it were to go back to them we only have support form these 2 now?

Glock: It's not time yet. The pieces are not in place for SCOTUS to issue a broad, definitive ruling. At this point , they could only say: 'OK stay lifted.' See below.

My opinion: Alito and Thomas realize that this is a shitshow and I cannot imagine they are not lining up for a smackdown. Not only do they have to dump the CCIA, they have to prevent the lefty states from pulling this crap ad infinitum. At this point there is just not enough material to work with coming out of the 2nd Circuit to smack down. They issued a clear warning to the 2nd to not only do their job, but to do it in a timely manner and with respect for Bruen. And that they stand with Suddaby and Sinatra.

1. The 2nd Circuit vacates the stay
2. They keep the stay and we appeal to Alito and Thomas and get the smack down
3. They take too long and we appeal again ti Alito and Thomas for smack down.
The other circuit courts are in check too. I see this all working for good. It will be a little longer but I do think we will be victorious.

You can read between the lines all you want. The funny thing is, if SCOTUS would have vacated the stay, the same people in here would be screaming how HUGE of a victory it was....
I can't see the 2nd circuit just rolling over and doing anything different just because 2 guys of SCOTUS wrote a letter saying come back later. Why would they? If they reverse it and rule in our favor we are given back our rights. But if they don't then MAYBE SCOTUS picks it back up and MAYBE they have enough votes to restore our rights. There were only 2 justices that got on board with the letter. Why wouldn't the 2nd circuit take their chances? It would be better than giving us what we want right now. Maybe it wouldn't happen for a year or 2 or maybe it would never happen. They'll roll the dice and we'll suffer in the meantime.

I agree. The second circuit will toss us a few bones and hope we don’t go to scotus or cause a delay. The longer they delay the more likely the courts make up will shift. This is the beginning of the end for us and our rights. Brien will mean nothing without enforcement and without a conservative majority on the court. The court said we got Roe V Wade wrong and the liberals when they are back in charge will say we got NYSRPA V Bruen wrong and we’re back to the two step validation process or worse. It may take 5 years, maybe 10 years but it will happen. Get ready and be ready.

Looks like they are giving the 2nd a chance to view the merits and then rule. and if the rule is not inline with Bruen then SCOTUS will step in.

Sucks but Judges are sticklers for procedure. I don't like it, but I get it. The second circuit has now been put on watch by the Supreme Court and the Supreme Court has now let the second know in no explicit terms that they are watching the second circuit very very closely. Basically the Supreme Court is giving the second circuit court an opportunity to the right thing in a reasonable time frame other wise the Supreme Court will be stepping in and handling things

NYS is trying to get every case tossed by claiming the plaintiff has no standing, because NYS knows if it is decides on the merit of the case that NYS will lose. There's no reason for them to. What's in it for them? If SCOTUS wants to eventually overturn them then great. What consequence will they face? None. Why would the 2nd make it easier on us than they have to? They wouldn't.

Yes but no deadline given. What's a reasonable time? A week? A month? 6 Months? 18 Months?
I don't put much faith in this. Seems like they dont want to be bothered with it. It's not like its something important like our natural rights or anything that they have decided to allow to continue to be violated.
