Even if Putin does end up dining in Kiev eventually, the cost to Russia has already been higher than the CIA could have ever dreamed.

They may need to rename the phrase Phyrric victory to Ukrainian Victory.

Nahh, the powers that be felt the combination of sanctions and war were going to collaspe Russia,and break her up, They estimated that all Ukraine had to do was to hold on until the inevitable collapse of the economic system in Russia . Ukraine would win and NATO would be there with bells on . Well plan A didnt work out, and plan B is just throwing good money after bad. that wont work either. Russia will have all the natural gas and farm lands in Ukraine and control the pipe lines to Europe , thier industry is on full blast, building new plants everyones working, food is cheap gas is cheap , they will come out of this like the US did during WW2.

Theres no path to victory for Ukraine, this is all a waste of lives, money and effort

Not to the cynical people in our deep state. Degrading russia was the goal. To them every ukrainian death was worth it.

It is astonishing to me the priorities of our government. Despite daily confirmation there is an actual invasion at our southern border with huge negative consequences, billions of dollars for ukraine is the top priority. And people wonder why trump is popular.

Correct, but I have read nothing to state that this was the case in this instance.

If we are to believe the talking heads, the most recent A50 was taken with a 1960's designed, S-200 SAM.

There is no official statement from the Russian side. Ukrainian/NATO side is just fairytales.
