Yes, I am an asshole, no argument there. I have learned to revel in it.
@Willjr75, what do you suppose comes after .338 win mag?

10,000 seemed like a logical progression point to me.

That would make sense. But, we don't make sense :D

I think 10k may have been a level at one point, but we messed around with them a little while back.

I didn't get a notification for this. I hardly ever go on these comment pages. My guess is .357 Sig since non of these ranks make any sense progression wise in regards to power.
I drove 643 miles today. Thats the farthest I've been able to drive a truck. Keep in mind I'm only allowed 11 hrs to drive and only @ 65mph

The high desert in Arizona and New Mexico, blanketed in snow, is simply beautiful. I wish I got to this part of the country more often.

I grew up in that area, the high desert of AZ and CA. The SW USA high desert used to be great places to live before politics destroyed it.

Even the political situation does little to diminish the majesty of the place. I think its the massive sense of scale that awes me so.
It's odd that as I approach my 40th birthday I find myself becoming increasingly intolerant of the decrepitude of old people.

Possibly. I find it more likely that decades of abuse and hard living will take its ultimate toll before my retirement. That's the plan anyway.
Scored a pretty awesome deal on 55gr IMI 5.56 ammo. .24 a round with free shipping!! Bought the 1200 round case at $289 fro Midway.

I use it almost exclusively, never had any problems at all with it. If I do y'all will be the first to know. But c'mon! Is that not a pretty good deal? That's almost pre Obama prices there!

I love the old stuff I had; maybe 25 years old. Old brass is my bolt gun reloads now. The new stuff seems to have less zip. I thought a guy had a bad rifle at the range, no bang in two additional rifles including a bolt gun.

I've fired about 3000 rounds of it in the last 6 months with no issue whatsoever. And I find it to be more accurate than many other bulk ammos. I've used it to win a few of @dsdmmat's matches.
I think the handwriting to text feature of my phone would be a lot more useful if my handwriting weren't so shit.

My handwriting looks like shit on anything electronic. Whenever I sign for something at the store, it always looks like I have cerebral palsy or something.

The "S Pen" of the note does a pretty remarkable job of feeling like a regular pen on paper.
Blew up my phone yesterday, somehow. Replaced it with a Note 8 this morning. Is very nice. The pen just may solve may fat finger woes.

I actually switched to the iPhone X recently. I hated when Apple forced people to use the home button coming from the 6. I will say, the display is really nice on it, and I like it a lot better than the 6 regular I had before this. Got a nice leather case for it and treated it with leather salve / some leather oil to darken it up. Feels really nice now. Think I'll stick with leather from now on for my phones.

My wife loves hers. Her main business communication tool. Billings, meeting notes, inventory orders, navigation. Way beyond my telecom skill set.

Have a Note 8 myself, had a Note 2 and 4 before this, absolutely love it. I use the pen so much for notes, grocery lists, cutting/pasting/editing pics/memes, etc. The dual rear camera is nice if you know how to take good pics, the manual mode is great. I used mine to take those moon shots.
Just had a situation where a less level headed person would be headed to jail. Or prison.

You have to pick and choose your battles, and put things in perspective. Is it really worth the anger? Is this just a matter of pride when you can be the bigger man and walk away?

If you're the one manipulating the situation to a certain outcome, even if you walk away, then YOU'RE the one in control of it.

I did walk away. Three times. Three times this dumb meth bitch charged after me. 4th time would have been it. Fortunately for everyone she was sent home first.

I'm quick to temper, but once I hit the level though. Takes a while to build, so I know what you mean as being hot and level headed at the same time.
Oh just maybe I'll be able to get something productive done maybe sometime this decade.
Gonna have a prime rib roast tonight!!! Hmm-mmmm! Mom's home cookin'! Roast, roast, roast, roast, roast, ROAST!
Having finished all my Christmas shopping last week I bought myself an early present: A Nintendo Switch! Is very nice.

I wonder if the Cabelas here has a Spyderco Sage 5 in stock. Maybe, but at a ridiculous price I'm sure.

Um, no, I'M sorry, buisness comes before pleasure. Driving an 18 wheeler in the snow sucks. Winter can go ahead and fuck off now.
