Are you going to wear that to the club? :)
Honestly fantastic performance and uber-impressive win in my book! :2pistols: I may hit you up for pointers next year.
Now that I think about it, years back I did see that gun online while shopping for a shotgun and was tempted because as noted earlier, blue is my favorite color (and I actually have a penchant for anodized metal). Still, I do have to agree that it is fairly out of place.
If you're up to it...
Haha! Yeah, sorry...I knew what you meant and I think I even saw this same shotgun years ago, but was just kidding. Still, I was curious about the pic and DANG, while I blue is my favorite color, I have to admit that is a bit out of place on a shotgun!
Lots of choices for that amount. Springfield RO is a lot of target gun for your money and leaves money for more upgrades and additions. You may also find some better 1911s used at that price...pic has top-to-bottom: Remington R1 Enhanced (used is probably around $1K), Springfield V-16 (16...
FEIW I recently got a Black Aces FD12 bullpup and it was a blast. Very manageable recoil and felt quite comfortable. Some other shotgunners at the range tried it and liked it too. Last I checked, Palmetto had it on sale for half price, but idk if they ship to NY. Also be aware of the spotty...

Some Americans feel bad about the state of the country today.
Most of the rest feel even worse.
In a new USA TODAY/Suffolk University Poll, we asked 1,000 voters to volunteer a single word that describes, for them, the state of the nation. Spoiler alert: The mood of America isn't sunny.

Over a decade of ammo hoarding...look outside at squirrels this time of year to get an idea of me. :p
(Some) kidding aside, I was lucky to have bought LOTS of Federal Champion 525 boxes from Gander Mountain years ago when they were on sale AND had a $5 rebate per box...yeah kids...back then...
This may work in our favor...based on the same stupid reasoning, they'll eventually rule muskets as semiautos and then we can say that according to Bruen ruling, semiautos should be allowed since they were presentin the 1700s.
Just an update that I just got off a call with an ammo supplier and from what I recall hearing, ammo could be shipped directly to NY (maybe not NYC) since the new requirement isn't being enforced. Ymmv
One year I had ordered a bunch of "Tactical defense" pens as holiday gifts for family and they looked like pens on steroids lol
The tactical straw is a nice twist on that!
Yeah, I just found that out myself recently...my info was based on having an original Isreali one. I can't imagine wanting to shoot the 50AE in a lightweight gun lol
Incorrect. Under Safk'd, guns over a certain weight were banned and considered assault weapons (ex. Desert Eagle despite it AFAIK never having been used and fired in any reported crime). Unless that was overruled lmk.
Yeah, I definitely understand. At Walmart at one point they said you need to provide a driver's license and your occupation, but nbd to me since I already do the same for gun purchases and normally they want age proof for ammo. After 3 trips I ended up with maybe a dozen boxes of Federal...
(In reference to the guy shooting himself or others...)
Not that it matters, but I believe the gun was unloaded since the RSO checked for mag and empty chamber once he gained control of the firearm.
Still, always assume a firearm is loaded and always treat it as if it is.
I want to add that one silver lining to this is that I finally saw a lot of ammo in the Walmart shelves. Apparently many people don't want to provide all their info, so that left more for those that dgaf.
However, for the last three times I bought ammo there, each time was a different process...
