Your vote isn't pointless. It doesn't carry near as much weight as a swing state vote does but like I said it is still important to get Trump as many popular votes as possible.
I think after how things went down last election the Trump campaign wants to get off to an early start with as many votes as possible from the outset.
Frankly I don't think it was the actual mail in ballots that sank him last time but the democrat fraud. Nevertheless if the Trump campaign...
NY Trump votes can have meaning: if Trump wins the left will again point to the discrepancy between the electoral and popular vote as reason to challenge the results and to continue their crusade against the electoral college. The narrower that discrepancy the weaker their arguments are. God...
The Trump campaign has been pushing hard for people to vote early so while I'd rather vote in person on the 5th I am defering to his campaigns wishes:
I am taking it to the local election office personally despite it being 23 miles away.
As a Pennsylvania voter holding this ballot feels a...
I don't want a replacement mount, nor do I have time to be gaslit about improper torque. It's a bad design, I don't want it on my rifle. I never liked the rail attachment method either.
The Desert Eagle being a gas operated gun the issue with unjacketed lead bullets would be in regards to fouling the gas port. So like customer service said any projectile in which lead does not come into contact with the rifling would be fine.
I bought this mount years ago, the receipt is long gone, I'm not even 100% sure where I got it from, trying to get any kind of refund seems pointless now. I'm just moving on here.
No money for .357 ammo last week but I spent a lot of time working on my drawstoke and reloads. My reload time is down to about 5 seconds. It's easy to try to go too fast and end up fumbling it.
American product made in America from American materials. Material is 7075 aluminum which is not indestructible, the hinges are just too thin. Manufacturer torque spec is 21 in/lbs which I ensured with my torque driver.
This mount cost $399!!
It's replacement is half that but with a...
They are garbage!
Apparently I am late to the party with this revelation but here it is anyways.
The problem is that the hinges fail.
These are very expensive mounts too, $400 or so! I am replacing it with a mount from Midwest Industries.
Thank you. Honestly though not a gigantic fan of the grips. A little too fat. The VZ grips I want are out of stock but when available I will get them.
The N frame VZs I got my mistake do actually fit somewhat but not quite, I was able to put them in and hold them in hand. The VZ ones are...
As you can see it conceals very well under just a light vest, it's quite comfortable too except when seated in a car where it digs in a bit.
The holster is a basic one from 1791 Gunleather, thumbbreak is due to my wanting it for woods hiking and being a heavier gun I wouldn't trust it to stay...
Little update: While I got off to a rocky start with the L-Comp I have since developed a love affair with the thing. I shoot it very accurately, it hasn't skipped a beat since I got it back. I have also been carrying regularly:
Bullet weights for .458 SOCOM get as high as 600gr. Basically it's a 45-70 in an AR. My question is who the hell can afford to load up a drum full of the stuff these days?! And that type drum is both expensive and fragile, drop one loaded onto hard ground and it will break. Don't ask me how...
This is precisely the sort of thing that would wake up the normies and set off a revolution. Is our military even capable of doing anything at this point? Seeing as how all the top brass are mentally unsound, unqualified, incompetent rainbow people. What are they gonna do? Launch rainbow...
Not quite so sunny but a very gunny Sunday nevertheless.
Yes I fired some of the 357s from the 340PD, no the recoil isn't as bad as everyone says, yes it is unpleasant. And yes, I did fire the two akimbo at some point.
I hate the way our justice system works.
Of course there should always be an investigation, but why have "preliminary" charges?! Do the fucking investigation THEN make whatever charges are appropriate, if any. Goddamn look before you leap fucking trigger happy legal cunts! There is no justice...
So come to find out just around the corner from me is a part time gunsmith, highly regarded in the community, who also happens to be a member at my range. He heads up the various youth .22 and trap leagues in fact. Anyhoo I was over there to drop off a rifle for some minor work and I asked him...
So I have been wearing the L-Comp in it's holster continuously since 12 noon today, ran some errands, got my hair cut, bought some more 357 ammo, groceries ect.
Cover garment was just a light shackit.
If you go on YouTube, Google or what have you regarding using an L frame as a CCW you...
So we all seem to prefer the Ayoob style strong side reload then. Okey doke, that's the method I'll start working with. I should be able to keep a pouch right next to the holster. In fact I ordered a very unique type pouch that clips onto, behind and above the belt and orients the speed...
Yes, I have also considered a gold bead sight as an alternative. There is one from SDM that would fit the bill. I am also planning on getting the Brownells Competition Rear Sight Blade to pair with it. This item would provide a deeper, slightly wider rrear notch and I think these two items...
All you revolver guys I am looking for opinions on what you prefer in terms of reloading techniques for defensive shooting situations.
I will be putting my new 586 L-Comp into the carry rotation and have been researching this. I have seen a variety of techniques and they all seem to fall into...
I wouldn't at all say that I am "used to" shooting 357s out of the 340. I shot a 50 round box of .357s on it's inaugural range trip and a cylinder's worth once since. I mostly shoot .38s out of it, indeed .38 Special +Ps are what I carry in it. While I didn't find .357 recoil from the...
Nice little haul of products: a couple of grips for my L-Comp, a holster for yge same from 1719 gunleather andsome scope caps for my K16i 1-6 scope.
Annnnd, neither of the grips fit. I knew the VZs wouldn't because I mistakenly ordered N frame ones and tge other grips don't give clearance to...
200 rounds of Remington 125 gr .357 Mag SJHPs and tge best group of the day, @ 20 yards:
Those Remingtons must be significantly more spicy than the Amscors regardless of what tte boxes say as recoil was significantly more than any 9, 40 , or .45 I have ever shot. Nevertheless still entirely...
I left it home, just wanted to bring 1 ammo can and it was filled with .357 and .22s. But you are right, I should bring out the 340 whenever I bring the L-Comp.
I still have 200 rounds of .38, I'll bring the 340 out later this week.
Well, the L-Comp acquitted itself in fine fashion Thursday and we will see how it does tomorrow, that being Sunday, as I will be expending the 200 rounds of Remington .357 SJHPs that I recently bought. I have a further 200 rounds of Magtech .38 Specials also but I'm thinking I should be saving...
Hypothetically speaking? I belive I would attempt to imobilze the joints with deliberately aimed fire. Once having successfully immobilized the subject I would then straddle the subjects chest, pinning them down as I used a knife to remove the face off the skull while the subject remained...
You kidding me? I'm typing this with my phone in my left hand while I'm dry firing the L-Comp in my right. When I woke up today I grabbed the L-Comp of the bedside table and...
Indeed. Revolvers do seem to be more fun to shoot for some reason. Another pdd thing I noticed was that when I shot my 5 shot 340 I was always taken by how fast 5 rounds went, It didn't feel like enough like thw fun eneded too soon.
Despite having only two additional rounds I didn't get that...
