Well I'm still on the hunt. I can't find anything I can commit to. I'm stuck between a few different points.
BB gun or Airsoft? I like the safety aspect of airsoft. But Amazon doesn't appear to allow them shipped to NY?:fuac:
If I go with the airsoft it appears like I will have to either...
I placed the order 2 months ago with the ETA mid October. If I knew it would have been 6 months I would have spent the extra $50 and bought it from ebay and had it that same week.
A little frustrated on this topic. My carrier has been delayed a lot..... now February. Good new is the plates should be inbound in the next couple weeks.
I think your confusing what we are saying. No one is saying to give up. We are looking to win in a different fashion then you are. Personally I do not believe we can save America in fashion we deem acceptable. So because of this I'm preparing myself to win in the collapse, at least as much as...
I do not confuse the two, but that is the optic for the other side. I think these weakens our appeal to the middle of the road people. Probably more importantly it makes it hard to appeal to younger adults. They feed on the high energy and emotion.
I'm pretty young (37) and I have yet to see...
I'm not the best with typed words but I'll take a shot at it. I don't think we can right the ship for two basic reasons.
1. Our personal philosophy. Most conservatives, republican's and libertarians believe their philosophies are correct. Now this is where we differ from the other side...
I had an older version of this one. I can't remember how hard it was to pump.

Well I think the time has come to buy my oldest his first gun. He will be 5 1/2 on Christmas and has shown some interest in guns and shooting. I'm not sure if he's mature enough to grasp ramifications of misuse so it will be locked up in the safe and only used under my close supervision. With...
I voted in Morrisville today. I can tell you I've never seen so many people out this early in the morning. I really don't know if this is good or bad for Trump. Bye the time I left the line had grown to twice the size than when I showed up.
I confirmed the deer rifle zero yesterday. Put 2 touching in the bullseye and pulled the third shot by an inch.
So today I loaded all the rounds in the rifle and its good to go for opening day. Do you think I carry enough ammo?
There have been millions of rounds made by Lee equipment. To be honest they are considered the low end. Lee is great for dipping your toes in to see if you even like to reload and is very budget friendly.
I always suggest starting with a single stage press kit. I prefer RCBS, but any kit from one of the big manufacturers will do. One of the main reasons I suggest that over getting a progressive right away, is simple. Everyone I know that runs a progressive still uses their single stage.
I have...
Well I've done my part and have 2 girls that have never voted before going for the first time. They are heavy on the trump train. Will it make a difference in NY, nope. But hopefully it will help on the local and state level.
If your loading pistol I can't recommend one of these enough. More than doubled my output. A bunch of other great addons there as well.

I really like my RCBS and can't recommend it enough. With that said any of the offerings from the big manufactures will be adequate. If you were loading for extreme accuracy there are a few single stage presses that help fight runout, but there even a debate if that little bit of improvement...
That's why I like to buy the caliber specific books from midway or brownells. That way you have multiple sources all in one spot. I also have a few of the main reloading manuals.
We bought a Weston 2 deer seasons ago. It is leaps and bounds better than the others we tried (foodsaver & cableas brand foodsaver). I think we paid $400ish for the thing, I cant quiet remember. With that said I think we would have been better off ponying up the extra money and buying a chamber...
Do you have much experience with the grizzly tools? I'm thinking when I start my wood working shop decking it out with their stuff. Then replace with better stuff if I need to.
Well she made a point to run on it everyday this weekend. So I come downstairs from working on the second floor and I see she's baking cookies. No biggie...... but she decided to run and eat cookies all weekend. I just stared at her Sunday eating a cookie after running and asked my what I was...
It's great when you can buy 4 8# jugs and be set for a very long time with all of your reloading. Do we lose some of performance we could tweak out of a round ...... most likely. But I ever do try to push a certain rifle/round then I will buy powder for that instance.
I standardized my powders. I picked versatile powders. Rifle I use Varget and pistol I use bullseye. With that said that doesn't always lead to the best loading for certain combinations.
Varget is good for 223. I really like some of the powder designed around the 223 like the CFE one, but...
I'm kicking myself for letting my supplies wane during the house moving/building process. I just finally got my financial feet underneath me and I cant find anything to buy.
I didn't read all the responses but here are a few that I have tried over the years.

We did primarily Roma's. We really like them but that doesn't mean we can't try something new.
@Calculon I saw a video after my struggles where a guy after blanching and skin removal, he halved the tomatoes. Then used a spoon to scrape the guts out. It looked smoother than what I did, but I...
Well we tried our hand at this recipe this weekend. It turned out well, had to mess with the quantities because we didn't have enough tomatoes. I also think the tomatoes were our biggest hold up. I found it to be a huge pain to get the guts out after peeling. I think there's probably a better way.
LOL Shes the evil one! She likes to pinch you and smile and ask if it hurts! She loves motorcycles too..... Yup shes probably going to cause me to go to jail when she gets older!
