That must have been many many years ago. You are looking at like a $7 average for coon, $1 for a rat, fox maybe $10. This is put up fur also.

Lots of trappers arent running heavy if at all because fur prices are so low. Being busy plus the market I haven't set anything in 2 years now. It's a great time to hunt them with populations being high.

If you are so desired to try and skin flesh and stretch the pelt yourself, I have the stuff and could give you some pointers as you go along. They aren't worth anything at market so if you F it up it isn't like you are loosing $. I've never tried tanning a hide but I'm sure YouTube has plenty of...

They will only buy the stretched and dried fur. There's a few places you could take it and have them process it for tanning.

You looking to sell them? Groenewold fur usually does a couple runs with stops in the area and buys on the spot.

Def, more urban. Most are recessed so vicegrips etc. Will not work. Most commercial bldgs exterior water spigots are going to need the key.

I'm not sure if they are an off size on purpose to deter people screwing with them or what but we found out the hard way we had a bunch of water keys they didn't turn our spigots on ...always thought they are handy to have in a vehicle or pack anyway.

Just a heads up there's more than 1 size. I work for a college and we had a guy buy some 1 time and the size we use was not on the 4 way.

What's nice is certain materials are harder for me to sharpen free hand sometimes. Not sure why but I can use stones on some stuff but basically ruin a decent edge on other stuff.

I came across an unopened box of triple 7 45cal 50 grain pellets and I do not have a 45 cal muzzleloader anymore. Would trade for something if someone needs them, I could use .410 ammo for the kids gun, Hornady 12 GA SST, 50 cal pellets, bullets for a 50 cal muzzle loader, who knows what else...

Yeah fox are going to get caught in yote sets so Def make a catch pole to release them.....not sure how many acres you have or what animals you are trying to protect, raccoons are probably one of the more destructive to turkey in my experience.
