It really depends on the prep work you did before starting but with case feeder, bullet feeder, powder measure and primer tube full you’ll make a round every time you pull the handle.
A quick google search shows guys claiming 500-600 but I’d say you’d really have to be cranking to get that.
For sale is a Hornady Lock n Load Progressive Ammo Plant. I am the second owner of this press but many of the accessories were bought new. The press comes with a case feeder and bullet feeder, 9mm shell plate and all 9mm dies. It’s all setup to load 9mm as it sits.
I also have a ton of extras...
I hear ya there. I have a good buddy that lives in PA and brings his standard capacity magazines for me to use when I compete down there. That little taste of 22 round freedom once a month is refreshing.
As I’m sure you know MBX mags aren’t cheap but they’re the only 10rd double stack mags I...
Bought it from an older gentleman in PA. It was technically ‘used’ but only about 300 rounds through it. It was a steal for $2500 considering they sell for around $3600 new. I changed the optic to a DPP Pro (it came with a cmore) which was another $450 or so. So around 3k all said and done.
Problem with comping a Glock is if it’s permanent then you can’t remove the barrel to clean it, as I’m sure you know. Luckily this barrel is removed by sliding it through the front of the slide. I did see that strike industries is selling a comp that clamps to a guide rod extension. So that...
With all the crazy anti-gun bullshit that seems to be everywhere right now I figured I’d share my “happy place” pistol. Every time I see the words Gun Control I go dryfire and it makes me feel better.
I shoot USPSA and Steel Challenge and this is my new game gun. It is an STI DVC Open in 9mm...
I don’t know that. I just go there for the matches but I suggested it because I’ve seen they have some long range rifle bays next to their pistol pits.
Sorry I wish I could give you more info.
I shoot steel and USPSA in New Tripoli PA at Ontelaunee Rod and Gun club. They have a nice facility. Only other place I’ve been to in PA is Matamoras but I think that’s a ways from you.
I haven't been on the forum in a while so I apologize if this has been covered but I wanted to share.
Here is the page to help Simeon Mokhiber, the Niagara man facing SAFE Act "high capacity magazine" charges.
Help an Army veteran appeal a SafeAct conviction
Well I can't say your wrong but I also can't say you're right.
By that logic though I'd have to say ALL fixed mag options are illegal. You may have to unpin, disassemble, remove hardware, remove welds but in the end the mag was inserted into the gun and eventually taken out. Regardless of the...
I had no problem doing an additional amendment for my Glock 22 (.40) when I wanted to add a conversion barrel to it to shoot 9mm. I don't see how this is any different.
But again, what would he change it to? Revolver?
Why do you think that's most risky? Seems to me that it would no longer fit the description. Key words being "chamber the next round".
21. "Semiautomatic" means any repeating rifle, shotgun or pistol,
regardless of barrel or overall length, which utilizes a portion of the
energy of...
Absolutely. This would work great for both jobs. Not to mention it's one of the sexier 870's I've ever seen.
It's at a great price too. I'm surprised it's lasted this long.
-(3) Bladetech SMP Double Stack 9/40 Mag Pouches. I did dremel the inside of one slightly due to a tight fit but the other 2 are new and unused. $50 for all 3
-KAK Slimline Flash Can. 9mm 1/2-36 threads. Only about 50 rounds through it. $25
-Cytac Nylon Duty Belt. Brand new in package. Size is...
I could care less about .45,
I just came here because can cannons are cool and here's where you could get some blanks... United Nations Ammo Company (UNAC)
Go to the blanks section. (They'll ship to you too but shhhhh)
Update #2.
Of course I couldn't just stop with the setup I had. New rail and a New Frontier side charge upper. Along with a different muzzle device. This is the gun I really imagined when I started this build.
I'm done for. A few weeks ago I got my hands on another lower and stuck it on...
I think this will be my one and only dueling tree. It was fun to make but I have other projects that I'm looking forward to starting. I'm thinking a Texas Star might be next!
What I will say though is any forum member that finds themselves on the east end of the state is welcome to come try it...
My total cost was just the $125 for the kit. I had the angle iron and materials for the base at home, so I saved on those.
This was one of the cheapest, similar quality, complete kits I could find. Which is $450 before shipping. And shipping is where they get you because it's so heavy...
I've wanted a dueling tree for a while now. The biggest problem I had, once I finally decided to build one, was coming up with a good plan and finding ideas on how to go about it. There's a few plans out there on different forums, but I figured I'd make a thread about how I did it. And hopefully...
I'm a lineman for one of the power companies here in NY.
First things first, if you're going to install a generator that back feeds anything in your house please please PLEASE have it done professionally. It won't just shock us, it'll fry us. Yes we have safety precautions just in case but...
Figured I'd give an update of what came of this thread. Lower is on my permit, all parts are now in and the gun is assembled. Parts list with pricing is as followed:
New Frontier 9mm Glock Lower $150
Sig Romeo5 Red Dot $145
Shockwave Arm Brace $30
7.5" HBar SS Barrel 1/2-36 $115
New Frontier...
I've always wanted to shoot a 617. My grandfather handed me down a High Standard Double 9 when I originally got my permit so that's the only rimfire wheelgun I've ever had trigger time with. Keep us posted on how she shoots.
I agree. Something is missing from the story.
The light I use to hunt dogs at night will illuminate their eyes at 500+ yards. But I can't positively identify a dog with that light past about 200 yards. So that's my max distance. Not only have I had curious deer come into my calls, I also...
I'm in Saratoga, like nortatoga, and like he said each caliber has to be amended separately. Here at least.
I recently built an AR pistol (see my thread in the handgun section). I went with a 9mm Glock dedicated lower and it has 'Multi Caliber' stamped on the lower itself. When I called the...
Man I want that gun bad.... I can't buy it right now unfortunately due to just building another AR but if she's still floating around in the near future you will be hearing from me.
