Local gun shops near me in westchester told me if you dont have a pistol permit you might as well apply for both pistol an semi auto rifle bc its the same process. County clerk told me the next available appointment to come in with paperwork is September 2023

Thanks i called county clerk an you have to fill out paper work like a pistol permit. Its much easier if you have your permit already. I have always been against getting a NYS pistol permit so i never got one. Oh well ill wait around for the next loop hole. C&R ffl might be excluded.
