Hey, isn't Cuomo a refugee? Perfect fit!!! He likes to micro-manage, they want to comply! He couldn't find a better place to be an el Presidente! lmfao & rofl!!! We should twll them about him!!!!!!
Hard to fathom... I'm not so swayed with emotion that I would do something I regret... Like the Farmer who they quoted, cuz I guess he thought some vigilantes were going to storm his farm for the .22, and go massacre a crowd. He's growing weed for sure...
SMH... How does it get to the point where they think this is a GOOD idea?
Turn in your kitchen knives while you're at it... those things are killers too! F()c4ing Morons...
Hold on there WillJr... like it or not (and for us it’s “not”), until a successful challenge to these idiotic laws has been won, our choice is to abide by them so we don’t jeopardize our (in this state) “privilege”. We are well aware life is grand one state over, but until my wagon is hitched up...
Aside from the reason he was stopped, assessed, and arrested, let's look at the firearm part. Put him in a position (with an assumption he had a Pistol License; which it appears he did not?) where he needed to use the firearm for self-defense; a clear, cut, in the right, shooting where he...
Oh no no no no... I don't do climbing. I considered using my climbing tree stand, but I would have to mount it too high to make it easy... or even comfortable!
The problem is: The strap is the highest point I can reach on a ladder, and it's less than a third of the way up the tree. What did you secure the winch to?
Dead tree has red line on it. Road and shed marked in blue, and...the tree is about 75 feet tall, leans toward the road, unless that Pine tree behind it guides it (yeah right).
I watched the video. I went out on the deck and stared at the trees in question for a bit, then maintained my decision that I don't think I can do it. The pic is self explanatory, and yes those trees are bout 50-60 feet from my house.
The form with the arrow next to it (above) is to conduct Private Sales between “Immediate Family,” defined as Spouses, Domestic Partners, Children and Step-Children. If this exception (relationship) applies, you can complete the Executor Notarized Statement (Bill of Sale), to convey ownership to...
Check your policy first! They may cover much less than you think, even if an act of god fells it on your shed (just sayin'... happened to me). I have an oak that will fall naturally, eventually, and I put a ratchet strap on a nearby tree to help guide it. Otherwise the town will be getting it...
In my county (Saratoga) they allow co-owning firearms, but I believe the co-owner must be the spouse. I never considered if it would apply to others. That's the whole reason I made (asked) her to get her permit!
I don't know when to quit. I've been hoarding since .22's were almost a nickel a piece! I had to get an inventory sheet going! So I would know when levels were low...
Aren't most of them out of state anyways? What about NYS ITS. They had their call centers in Colorado... they told everyone it was in Buffalo, but what made them think Level 1 Help Desk people wouldn't tell us where they really were?
Just when you think NY couldn't think up anything MORE...
It's just gonna start a frenzy of hoarding ammo... again. or as I wish to refer to it: keeping minimum stock levels of everything I'll need to make it through the apocalypse. I can just take a picture of it and send it to them, right? I'll initial the boxes, and cans, and buckets...
My first gun (many, many moons ago) was a Taurus .32 - couldn't even tell you what model. I own one now, a model 605 2" revolver in .357. I carry it when I wear something that makes it hard to conceal, as it fits in a sticky pocket holster.
All of my handguns (minus 1) easily were able to be mastered to operate, mag change, and brass deflect (hat mostly). I have a Walther that drops the mag with a lever at the bottom of the trigger guard. Not my favorite so never really mastered it...
In taking a look at an "old" new gun (Taurus Curve), I found threads wondering why they didn't make a lefty version. They also talked about other handguns fit for lefties...
I found myself adapting to right-handed handguns, and overcoming the ejection factor, mag release, etc..
While I know that...
I only bought a firearm (actually my SR9) with a CC about a year back, when they were threatening to make CC Companies refuse purchases for firearms and ammo. I did it just to spite them, and well... I did get a new gun out of it!
Have never otherwise financed either, and used my debit card to...
Lots of good info. I checked out the Tippmann Arms-Project Appleseed Edition M4-22 PRO; which looks to be quite a .22, except it isn't NY compliant : (
Odd, but true. I had read previously that Philly (or was it Pittsburgh?) had exceptions, but I found:
Under current State law, Philadelphia is unable to pass laws on gun ownership or selling a gun.
Philadelphia is unable to create restrictions on guns because of a state law that says “No...
I keep a running list (for everything; not just camping) in my e-mail as a draft. G-mail saves the draft, and it is editable as well as available in the Drafts folder for always. I currently have more Drafts than I do Spam.
Yeah, I'll just hi-jack this one and let everyone know despite knowing I could beat Bloomberg in an election, I too will not be running for POTUS. I know many of you are disappointed, but I need to concentrate on... other stuff.
Not being a nay-sayer, but I couldn't find anything on it... I do wonder though how anyone puts themselves in a position to get caught possessing an illegal or modified rifle to begin with, or make modifications that can take away your freedom for life. I am all for making my guns my own, but...
