I love my SR22. One of my favorite pistols.
The standard SR22 is so easy to handle, what difference did you gain with the long slide that warranted the purchase?
12g, .22lr, 9mm, 5.56/.223, .38/.357, .45, 7.62/.308.
So yes, I choose calibers with that in the back of my mind. I've almost bought some odd caliber stuff though, but I can't seem to bring myself to do it.
What's the zero of choice on an ar10?
I was seriously considering taking my m&p10 this season, as I've gotten really comfortable with it over the spring/summer. I currently have it zeroed at 100 yards, and am pretty happy with it. Curious to hear opinions.
Target sports has had a few specials recently where it was a c hair less than $.04 a round for prime members. I bought a brick of armscor and a brick of fed champion. Both have shot great so far and I am glad to be back under $.05
I picked the m&p2.0 over the glock, as I liked the feel and trigger better. Every glock I've tried so far only feels "ok" to me. They are good, but just don't tickle my fancy. APX was on the short list as it felt good when held, but I never got to actually fire one.
I just recently got into AR's last year and had the same dilemma. I decided to get a starter rifle, and learn the platform with a warranty, before undertaking a build.
So I bought a NJ compliant S&W M&P15 online on a really good sale. My FFL put a spur grip on it and destroyed the OEM grip...
Not going to happen for a few years. I'm only 2 years into my house, so I have a never ending list of projects. Between that and my two boys that are still really young, I feel lucky to even get time for the range, lol.
Thank you sir, I'll give them a good look.
Looking for a good source for bulk .308/7.62x51 for my AR10. Just looking for something to target shoot and get more range time with the rifle. I use my ar15 way more because of the cost of ammo, but I enjoy shooting the ar10 more.
Any info/leads would be appreciated. Would be great if somebody...
Looking for a lever action .357/.38 rifle and/or handgun. Located in Rockland/westchester area and I have a reputable FFL to complete transaction.
Willing to trade for Automotive parts, would be best if you needed Nissan stuff, but can accomodate "most" makes and models. Let me know what you...
Tandemkross sent me the wrong spring the first time. It fit and functioned, but wasn't correct. the guide rod was too long and the spring was wonky, just like the pic above of the spring on the right. Took two weeks and some sissy whining to get a new one. Customer service wasn't the greatest...
I bought a 10/22 that turned out to be real finicky out of the box. With the fed auto match or win m-22's I couldn't get through a magazine without a hiccup. Surprisingly golden bullets were the best out of the cheapo stuff. After cleaning up the inside of the receiver, and a volquartsen...
I go there regularly, as its on my way home from yonkers to rockland. They know me and don't bother me.
Wish I could get into a club, but the clubs around me are really tough to get into.
Let me know how it goes when you shoot it. I shied away from it and went with an M&P. The beavertail was touching the knuckle on my thumb and I thought it would hit and become uncomfortable when fired.
I have a small sub-20 dollar 4x20 barska scope on mine that I got at dicks on sale. Its small and mounts tight to the receiver. Pretty spot on to 25 yards.
Got the uplula over the weekend. Nine rounds go in pretty easy, 10th is still an absolute biatch. I'll give them a couple more runs at the range before i start messing with followers and springs.
I'm going to leave them fully loaded for a few days to see if that affects it at all.
Just recently bought an s&w m&p9 m2.0, and I'm just getting comfortable with it. I'm looking to grab a couple extra magazines for it, and I wanted to see if anybody has any opinion on the magazine choices out there.
I only see factory or promag if I search, so if anybody knows of another option...
I live in Rockland and need about a dozen interior doors hung and painted. I had bought all the materials to do it and then my back was hurt in a car accident, so now I can't do it. Doors are blanks and need the hinges and knobs cut in. If its something you can do, I can give you the specifics...
