You may have a Remington/Marlin. Some were fine, quite a few had a lot of problems. I owned one Rossi, it never gave me any problems, a Model 92 in .45 Colt.
Marlins do loosen screws up a bit, a good fitting screw driver is handy. Or put a drop of blue loctite on the screw. I just check them...
Could you pull the trigger group? That might give him a better chance of getting at the mag release. I have one of the earlier models, so the stuck magazine fix is guess work on my part.
I would like to see Mike Pompeo run. Very intelligent and none of Trump's baggage. But in actual fact, if it comes down to voting for Trump or giving Biden another term, I will vote for Trump.
Anything food scraps except for meat goes in the "farm", coffee grounds are good, sugary stuff doesn't get in there either. The "Product" gets any of there plants growing in good order. Cheap fertilizer.
The .41 magnum has been declared dead more times than I can count and yet they still make them. Bullets are available from 170 grains to 295 grains. It's only my opinion but at realistic ranges the .41 doesn't give up anything to the .44. Own them both and shoot them both so I think I can...
I have a Savage 23A Sporter, .22 caliber, 24 inch barrel, and it is accurate, especially with sub sonic ammo. Good time thinning the squirrel population with a rife that is 30 years older than I am!
My wife, standing at the ballot machine, asks the poll worker if it made a difference which way she inserted the ballot. " Make no difference, the lady said, this is New York."
I have a Marlin 1894 FG, .41 magnum to go with my Blackhawk in the same caliber. I'd like to see Ruger make a 1894 in .327 magnum. I never shot one but looks like there'd be a lot of potential there. I had a Rossi 92 in .45 LC but it went to fund another project. Nice rifle though.
Some of those armored cars are bullet proof from the inside too. Recall a new hire who racked the shotgun in the rear compartment and touched off a round into the roof. Kevlar panels are pretty good. The driver and I both wanted to shoot him at that point. "I didn't think it was loaded," he...
Starline has brass for the .375 Win. most of the time, a fellow by the name of Les Vollmer makes good bullets, jacketed soft point type, advertises on gun broker usually. Hornady probably has dies. Reloader 7 is my personal standard but there's other good powders, all of which are hard to find...
I have one of those too and it's pretty good, but I am particular about sharp tools and admittedly like the hands on aspect, even though it's guided by the fixture. Backward evolution?
I just got mine delivered yesterday. I'm a long time Lansky user, this Worksharp tool blows my Lansky set away. The choice of angle adjustments alone is worth the money. They could, maybe, use a few more grits of sharpening stone, but the 320 and 600 grit diamond stones worked fine. And the...
