Beautiful. I love red foxes. I used to see more of them around my place but not anymore.View attachment 95060
Only saw theses two reds making a beeline towards my house. At that moment I realized my wife had the chickens out. Called her just in time

Has your Yote population gone up considerably? That is often a result when it doesBeautiful. I love red foxes. I used to see more of them around my place but not anymore.

Not sure. I live in the city but not in the area of the city where some open or forested areas are. I do see them around though.Has your Yote population gone up considerably? That is often a result when it does
Should have taken the doe before she gets pregnant and yotes get her.Driving home from camp this morning. seen two decent bucks standing in a field then finally saw the doe. She was in heat but also a very bad injury had her limping badly. Could have shot all 3 but it was fun watching them. It was the first time my wife was able to see that kind of deer activity.
Congrats on a nice buck Robin.Beautiful morning. Called him in from over 150 yards by burping. Better sounding than a grunt tube.

A modern contraption crossbow. After over sixty years of shooting the heavy poundage self bows, things have caught up with me. Even putting on a coat makes me wince with pain from a shoulder that won't leave me alone. I tried to shoot through it but maybe rest is the best course of action. I hope it clears up be spring, I still love shooting my traditional bows. As it is, when I had the shot it occurred to me that with my stuff, I still had to make that shot, with the crossbow it was a forgone conclusion to how it would end. Yet I am so thankful to be out there enjoying Mothers nature and her bounty.Nice one! What did you take it with , Longbow, recurve, flatbow , self bow or modern contraption?

Do you live in Springville or just hunt down that way? I just spent a week there visiting a good friend of mine. I didn’t take anything but one of the guys that we hunt with took a beautiful 8 point .We butchered a doe one of my trio took in Springville Saturday.
I live in Evans but one of our group has permission for a spot in Springville. I normally hunt my own property or state land in Franklinville. Once in awhile I hunt a friends land in Springville near Zoar Valley.Do you live in Springville or just hunt down that way? I just spent a week there visiting a good friend of mine.
