Yes deep watering to drive the roots down in the soil deeper. Will make your plants hardier and more drought tolerant. Very morning or evening for a good long while. Research the plants you have since all have different water requirements.

You guys didn’t warn me that gardening was so much work! It’s a full time battle against the bugs.
Now we have cucumber beetles. How do we get rid of them (organically)? Can’t seem to find much online other than pyrethrim (?) from chrysanthemums.

Sticky traps or squish them. That's from what I read. I just squish them.

Cabbage worms, velvety green worms on the lower left leave of the top two photos (the leaf that's half gone). Pick and squish or
bacillus thuringiensis (Bt) for less toxic treatment. Sevin will work too.

We’ve eaten from our garden, Red leaf and romain lettuce, cuckes, zuccini. Yellow squash , cubanella and hot Greek peppers so far. Also raspberries and blackberries.
