Unfortunately, I agree with you. I hate to think that the political machine could be this monstrous and self-serving, but, I’m reaching the point where I can’t think anything else. The pattern always seems to be the same, and, the shootings always seem so illogical. For instance, in El Paso, the shooter says he was pissed about illegal immigration - I don’t know in what way he was pissed, as I haven’t read his “manifesto” - so he shoots up a Walmart. How does that in anyway further his goals? It makes no sense.

More than ever before, its not the guns, it’s the people.

I'm watching Fox news. They have the B team on right now. All young people that have the weekend shift. And even they are all talking about new gun legislation that is required to"solve this problem.". As BD said bend over here it comes. Glad I got out to the range yesterday. At the rate things are going they will all be shut down by next week.

I certainly do not say this with any glee but I think the rest of the country is about to get a taste of NY style gun laws.

I would bet big money on a federal hi cap mag ban. Absolutely would pass the House and I don't believe the Senate would sufficiently be against it. And Trump would never veto it.

Gun owners and pro 2A we suck.

We also know certain things can be done but instead we sit back and wait for the next thug to come and take lives.
The main problem is that the leaders who take our votes are doing nothing to inspire dialog and action. They take our
donations and votes and just adopt a defensive position.

These many shootings is not good so I am sure we can do something about it. Our ideas might not be welcome by
the liberals but they are probably more effective than theirs or even perhaps come to certain agreement in some of the areas.

If we are going to have gun free zones then make them really gun free zones not pretending gun free zones. Therefore
in many of these areas we need a secured perimeter and for this reason we have to rely in security controls and armed
personnel. This is pretty basic stuff and why in an airport we do not have pretending gun free zones.

If the areas in not gun free then who is going to take charge of security. If a citizen wants to be part of a volunteer defensive
force then they might have proper training and be able to coordinate and communicate with law enforcement so he/she doesn't
harm an innocent shooter or is killed by the police by mistake.

We need to up security everywhere like it is the norm in many countries around the world. Disarming the citizens
indiscriminately and good intentions is not going to resolve anything.

We also need to track down mental folks and put them in hospitals if needed. The very same mental facilities the liberals
closed down. Many of those mental cases are now part of the penal system that is struggling to keep up.

These are all pretty inconvenient truths but they are truths nevertheless.

What has the Trump really done for the 2A voters? I would expect from the president, republicans and 2A orgs and lobby, ideas and alternatives to the liberal's default prescription do both A) do something about thugs and violence B) while we further solidify the 2A and protect our natural rights.

GUN OWNERS DEMAND ACTION!

... but we really suck, don't we?

I would not put it past the radical leftists to pretend to be Trump supporters, right of Center, racist even, and use the typical so-called "assault weapons", in an effort to have more gun control legislation passed.

Since most of these lefties know that us on the right have most of the guns they want to have them taken from us before they start their so-called Civil War.

If you liked your sister, would you take the chance of shooting up a place with her in it? If you disliked her enough to kill her, why wouldn't you do it where other people would not be involved?
