I'm actually not happy at all about this. I think having to resort to the nuclear option will come back to haunt the Republicans. I'm pissed beyond belief that Republicans let Sotomayor and Kagan through, but Dems won't approve Gorsuch. Still, if that's the way it has to go down, I hope they pick the most religious, Roe v. Wade-opposing, gun-loving judge on the planet the next time. Fuckers.

Not going nuclear now is stupid. The dems have already proven that they will use it first chance they get. There is nothing to be saved by avoiding it.

What will the Republicans gain by waiting, the ability to say "shame on you" when the dems use it later, not worth the electrons it took to light the pixels on that phrase ?
