Ammo background checks to begin mid-September?

Every time I see a post like this I think if they are blatantly unconstitutional then why aren’t all background checks? I get most of us will say they are but why aren’t they suing them to remove all background checks? Background checks are here to stay just my opinion. I hope I’m wrong.

A very good friend of mine is an FFL and has told me there is no such form. They made their own with the required questions as they don't want to keep a customer standing right there while they conduct an interrogation. some of the questions that are required are name, address, telephone number, SS number, email address, make, caliber and how many rounds. That is just some of the questions, if any are left blank you can't continue with the check. This new system is just a backdoor attempt to close gun shops, and many have done so already.
Do am internet search of Aaron Dorr and the firearms associations he's created in five other states. Ask yourself why he's being investigated by those States AG.
I'd like to see the Court Clerk's acceptance stamp on a copy of said suit.

It is more than that, I keep saying it is forcing gun shops to do be the ones that gather the info for the database. I keep thinking about the excuse of "I was just following orders."
It amazes me how fast and with no qualms so many do this. I keep telling customers this is for the NY database.

It is a personal choice. One I personally find difficult. Many times in the last two years I find my mind going to the history of Germany. I understand things I often have wondered about and can say, it is very uncomfortable.

Consider this. Suppose a person ordered 1000 rounds of ammo from outside NY and had it shipped to an FFL in NY. A totally clean purchaser, heavy weekend shooter. Then the background check comes back as declined. The ammo stays with the FFL for a long time.

Gives me a good reason to visit my relatives in PA.
My wife and I did this during the scamdemic/ammo shortage.
We'd head out and hit a couple shops, grab lunch. She found a couple stores she liked so I'd drop her off, go to a gun shop and pick her back up. 3-5 hour loop of ammo, gun and standard mag shopping.

I figure at some point Hochul the Horrible or the next NY Governor that's selected will sign another commie bill into another unconstitutional law. Making it illegal to transport ammo across state lines. And if we eventually get justice from the courts the NY Governor will just ignore the court decision and then double down on tyranny. That's already been proven.
I don't need a crystal ball for this shit. I'm a seasoned New York gun owner, and therefore I can spot a slippery slope miles and miles fucking away. And this is another slippery slope.

I expect roadblocks and unconstitutional searches of anyone coming into NY from surrounding states.
Which also makes me think that dashcams and cameras mounted within your vehicle that automatically upload to the "cloud" are soon to be required for anyone who likes to travel.

Recently, I joined GOA and SAF. In my mind, the jury is still out on how effective, legit etc. these organizations really are. After the debacle called the NRA ( thanks for fucking nothing ! ) I'm cautious. What I can say is that almost every damn week I get a URGENT - MUST ACT NOW letter. The bottom line is ALWAYS send a damn contribution. It seems to me these organizations that are so cash strapped should search out the people and corporations that have the money. Hit the top 1% or something. Leave the guys that are bitching about not being able to buy a pizza out of the loop a bit.why do you think i posting his stuff .

I agree... send us more money... I was an NRA member for many years. I bowed out, let my membership lapse about 10 or so years ago as they didn't seem to be at all interested in NYS 2A issues. I'm sure that some of the NRA folks have NY gun owners best interest at heart but the organization as a whole, or those running the show, not so much. Maybe the other two you mention are or would be a better bet, but I just don't know. I think if gun owners want to contribute to the cause, the $$ would be better spent by contributing to people running for elected office that have a PROVEN track record and or history of being pro 2A. Problem is, a 2A politician will have a tough time winning in the socialist state of NY.

You're absolutely right. But, as a little thought experiment, what would NYS look like if we could just cut that shit hole NYC off the map? I know it won't happen but unfortunately everything that occurs is generated from 8,804,190 people distributed over only 300.46 square miles.
