Is there actually a NY background check database up and running now?
No
Is there actually a NY background check database up and running now?
On Hillary's bathroom server? Is there actually a NY background check database up and running now?
Maybe they're thinking criminals are dumb enough to list things like...Serial Killer....Professional Bank Robber....Drug Dealer...?Gotta ask Kathy why Andrew had it in the 2013 SAFEact and why she left it there in her new klusterfuk View attachment 169523
That I’m well aware of but I’ll ask my question again what does your job have to do with this? Why would you have to provide your occupation to buy ammo? I’m more questioning the requirements of this seller of ammunition since it’s not all ammo form what I understand. I could be wrong but I thought it was only for ammo for guns requiring a license say pistols and semi automatic rifles.By making it required for all ammo, the State can figure out what you already have at home by what ammo you buy, regardless of what firearms you own/buy before/after the new legislation and permit laws. It’s not really an ammo registry; it’s a sneaky GUN registry.
They will not. Remember a while back it was posted here that they stopped selling to NYS for a time period because NYS DOJ sent them a cease and desist order. Then customers got mad and sent them the memorandum of understanding and that the law/database had not taken effect and they started selling again. They will stop on 9/1 or as soon as they are aware of the law. Watch out buying ammo from them after 9/1 because NYS will demand their sales records and you will be in violation of NYS law.I really hope TSUSA doesn't cave and stop shipping. I would hate to deal with overpriced Gunbroker ammo sales or worse, the gas to drive to PA to get ammo.
I have seen nothing saying you must buy your ammo in NYS or that it is illegal to posses ammo that hasn’t been background checked. They have no legal authority to stop you or search your car for any reason at all. Possessing ammo even in plain sight is not criminal in anyway shape or form. This doesn’t ban the possession of ammo not purchased in NYS and NYS laws don’t follow you to PA.Be on the look out for plain clothed troopers in unmarked cars watching your trips with road blocks on your return trips.
NY can demand their records but I bet they won't get them. It is one thing for the AG to send threatening letters to them, it is another for them to demand their records. They aren't in NY, so there is nothing the state can do. Sure they may go to court, but I still don't see them being required to give the records up. With that, I will continue to order. They will not. Remember a while back it was posted here that they stopped selling to NYS for a time period because NYS DOJ sent them a cease and desist order. The sale takes place in their home state, not here.NY can demand their records but I bet they won't get them. Sounds good but I'm not sure there is enough space in Matamoras with all the Adult Bookstores every 100 feet. Just saying ...If this doesn't get thrown out, I want to open a giant ammo store in Matamoras, PA in between all the fireworks and cigarette stores.
Any one interested in becoming a ground-floor investor?
They get them for taxation right? They are allowed to tax online sales if you buy out of state now. They must be saying the sale is taking place in NYS so I could see them being able to get the records for sales going to NYS. You also need to count on TSUSA wanting to protect you enough to spend a ton of money defending your information in court with expensive lawyers. I don’t see this happening.NY can demand their records but I bet they won't get them. It is one thing for the AG to send threatening letters to them, it is another for them to demand their records. Then how can they make you play taxes on that sale? The sale takes place in their home state, not here.
Why do we have to claim a tax refund as income when it was an overpayment of tax in the first place? Don’t try to figure out tax laws. Ever. Then how can they make you play taxes on that sale?
YES, Counting to 0 is impossible because you start at 1 LOL.This will save countless lives, and I mean countless.
It was income for the state when you overpaid, and it was income for you when they paid you back. Why do we have to claim a tax refund as income when it was an overpayment of tax in the first place? Don’t try to figure out tax laws. Ever.
Time for a partnership! We'll call it Smut & Ammo!Sounds good but I'm not sure there is enough space in Matamoras with all the Adult Bookstores every 100 feet. Just saying ...
Not sure I wanna talk shooting and loads with you boys anymore.......Time for a partnership! We'll call it Smut & Ammo!
Fixed income means you need to budget expenses...Living on a fixed income does have a downside.
We should collectively agree on something to put there like "red blooded patriot" then every entry in the state lists that as the profession LOL.Maybe they're thinking criminals are dumb enough to list things like...Serial Killer....Professional Bank Robber....Drug Dealer...?
Or maybe they're just intrusive assholes....
Then they'll want to fold us into the DoL, OSHA, and unionize usWe should collectively agree on something to put there like "red blooded patriot" then every entry in the state lists that as the profession LOL.
Why ? I'm breaking no laws by transporting ammo. I don't even have to lock it in the trunk. It can sit on the seat right next to me, and they can't say a damn thing about it.Be on the look out for plain clothed troopers in unmarked cars watching your trips with road blocks on your return trips.
No, that's the MOU from 2015 SAFE ACT. The NEW law is another installation of the old law, so the MOU from the old law doesn't cover it. Understand ? Of course not. It's uber-liberal horseshit. Nobody understands it.Has the MOU been recinded?
PA guns and ammo is a supporter on here and posts sometimes. Seems like a nice guy but have never been to the shop.So I have done the trip to PA down 81 many times (mainly for fireworks and visit family). Its aboit 2.5hrs driving distance, no thruway. I am curious if anyone has frequented the shops across the state line. Just a 10mi radius search I see PA Guns and Ammo, Egers Sports, TAG Gun shop, and Montrose sporting goods. Anyone deal with any of those? Anything better farther in the state? Asking for a friend.
That's the one I was hinting at a week or so ago. First exit after the pee stop in PA southbound on 81. Call first to see what he has.PA guns and ammo is a supporter on here and posts sometimes. Seems like a nice guy but have never been to the shop.
