That’s outrageous. I was paying $0.04-0.05/round a few months ago. I’ve seen 9mm for $0.50/round and .223 for $0.65/round. It’s crazy and there’s no way I’m paying that. I’ll wait as I have plenty.

Out. Completely out. Asked for 223 and 556, 22, 22 short and 22lr. All.....
Gone.
People on gun broker are going nuts with price. Looked today, seeing nearly .80/round for FMJ. Just insane . I think there is or will be secondary fallout for ranges. No ammo= not many shooting. I know I am rationing for range trips now (please no commentary on stocking up, new to the game here)

That what is in stock is high-end competition 22 ammo, not plinking ammo. Earlier in the day they did have some Aguila 22 for I think 23.99 a brick of 500.

For awhile there ppl were ignoring the .22's, now they evaporated too.
@Jchrisls what is it you are shooting 22's from? I ask because I have found pistols can be more finicky the rifles. I have a few pistols that seem to only like anything CCI and 10/22's seem to shoot anything.
A brand new Henry Golden Boy in 22. Just bought last Saturday. Haven't fired it yet, wife has first honors soon

I reload so I have no clue what ammo costs these days. I have a few thousand of this and a few thousand of that.
Rimfire,,,,bought a few thousand rounds before the safe act.
Waterfowl and turkey loads I buy every year but have no problems finding it. Buds, Target Sports or some other place online.
Never heard of a Henry being finicky about ammo, some ammo may be more accurate then others.

Exactly what’s happening most times.
I’ve seen steel cases .223 for $0.45/round though. That’s outrageous. FMJ for $1.00/round on gun broker. Nothing fancy.

I was buying cheap .22lr a few months ago and in June saw some for $2.70/50 round box at gander outdoors. I guess I should have bought it all because now it’s gone and can’t find that either. I have plenty of .22lr and looking for more larger caliber riffle rounds. I should have not been a cheap asshole and bought the 2,000 rounds of .223 and 1,000 rounds of 9mm as planned and I wouldn’t be bitching, I’d be cashing in.
Freaking 9mm is going for $550/1,000 rounds after shipping on gun broker. That same shit was $0.17-18/per round a few months ago. Wow.

My " neighbor" ordered some 9mm reloading projectiles from BassPro yesterday. He got a notification that they shipped.
X-Treme 124 gr HP , boxes of 500 .
He usually gets supplies from Runnings but they are cleaned out.
Ra-Lin and Intimidator Sports in Syracuse usually had stuff but have been expensive in the past. I/ He hasn't stopped by in a year so things may have changed.
I do not know if Tim's Guns in Elbridge has ammo or supplies in stock.

Thats interesting I wonder if (Bag of) Dicks deliveries all over are on those days. I think I am supposed to get a call from my FFL on Monday to do initial paperwork for my P238.

NY Shooter Supply in Albany today had a good amount of all rimfire calibers, plenty of .223 & 5.56, 9mm and just about everything else. Lots of powder and projectiles, some primers. Always well stocked in ammo and reloading components.
The only thing I can add to this thread is.......when the ammo is back in stock, stack it deep and wide for the next shortage.
Hell, I have 10,000 rounds of ammo that I have no gun for. Including 1000 rounds of Hornedy 223, 3000 rounds of 30 carbine, many thousands of various 22 cal....hornet, stinger, magnum....1000 45 ACP, 1000 40 s&w.....and alot of 20, 16, 10, and 410 shotgun shells.....and much more.
I have no guns to shoot any of this.....I used to....but not now.
I will keep the 223 and the 30 carbine but gonna sell the other maybe, ill never own any of those guns.
I do have a single shot 10 gauge but it is unsafe to fire. It pops open when fired sometimes but I dont care enough to fix it.
Anyways, stop buying gold and silver. In truly hard times, ammo and medicine is far more important that useless metal.
Ok, silver has a mild antiseptic action for wounds....but id rather have antibiotics, Neosporin and a box of 9mm over an ounce of silver.
Just saying.

As soon as prices drop I plan to buy about $1,000-$1,500 in ammo. I have a good stockpile now but I need more. This is perfect case and point.
I’m kicking myself for not buying a Beneli m4 off a friend about a year ago for $700. All set up for 3 gun, extended tube, upgraded sights, extended bolt release. Take a look at gun broker they are going for $2,700-$2,800 now. Damn!! Also if I’d have bought more ammo as planned I’d have sold off a few thousand rounds. Could have made $3,000 fast. I had the cash to do so. I was just being cheap and did t want to hear it from my wife. She’s be smiling now!!
