Well after practicing a bunch and losing arrows,,,,I need some archery supplies
,,,guess I will be stopping there tomorrow being that I have a job to do in Henrietta. I will look and see what ammo they have on their shelves.

Report- as of closing of business today, Runnings in Brockport had 540 rounds of 55 gr 223 Remington in brass, in stock. 40 round maximum per person, per visit. 10.49/box. Brought my wife so we could buy 80 rounds, spotted a family of 3 shopping for shotgun shells, made "quick friends " in store, offered to buy him a box of shells if he could "purchase" another 120 rounds ( for me of course). Deal done, out the door with 200 rounds. Should still be in stock tomorrow if interested. Headed back with SIL to but another 80.

NY Shooter Supply in Albany had a couple thousand rounds of 5.56 and 223 left. No limits. Tons of 308 and 7.62x51.
I just bought a 762 upper for my AR since 223/556 so hard to find and expensive right now.

From what I can tell, you need to buy the right mags and an enhanced firing pin. I'll let you know when I get a chance to shoot it.

I considered slumming it and looking around at such a political whore house but just couldn't do it. Our Jeep fought back and wouldn't allow the turn. Good thing i guess, I'd felt so dirty I wouldn't be able to sleep.
Noticed Walbarf is always well stocked with birdshot I use a lot of so next time I'm there I'm buying it all if I have enough cash on me.

That’s nice to see. A little high though at 0.65/round. Was $7.99 per box a while back. Not worth the trip for me since I’m in Buffalo area.
I definitely get prices have risen just not worth the hassle for me at that price.

Below most other shops in the area. .65/round for american made 5.56mm. I'm told that wholesale price went up another .10 a round a few days ago. So watch for prices to climb even farther.

Sorry but the only place that has kept prices reasonable is TSUSA. They will have my business until I die or they piss me off. No way is $0.80/round reasonable or in-line with what they are paying. Speaking of TSUSA, if you're on the fence about paying for the annual Prime membership, I received this e-mail today -
Their prices have been going up (556 ammo right now is $0.56/rnd, 9mm was around $0.33/rnd I think), but aren't TOO unreasonable. I've been checking multiple times a day to order, and hopefully the reserving for Prime members helps. Though I also wish they could reserve some inventory for NY residents since it's so hard to find someone to ship.. I might have to break down and send to an FFL if it comes down to it.

Out of curiosity and in the hood anyway, dropped into Dick(less) in Jefferson Valley.
Virtually no pistol ammo except 5 boxes of 38 Spl and a fair amount of white box .45. Only 12 and 20 gauge target loads except a few boxes of very pricey 20 ga slugs and a handful of speciality 12 loads (steel bb's, whoo hoo). Pricey centerfire rifle cartridges in several popular calibers were available but nothing I wanted or needed at those prices.
The only rimfire I saw were ammo boxes of 17 hmr, and a handful of little 22 wmr's.
Ps there was no .223/5.56 at all.
