Good gunsmiths specialize in specific work and serve shooters from across the country. The guns are shipped to them unless you are lucky to live within driving distance. Minor smithing, that doesn't require machinery people usually do themselves or have shooting friends do it for them. If you belong to a gun club, ask around.

When I called Blue Tuna a few weeks ago they said "no gunsmith work" until further notice.
First of all, I apologize for calling you an asshat a few weeks ago. I lost a very good (and very healthy friend too) to covid and I was pretty upset that day. We couldn't even see his wife for his service.
Anyway, check with John Henrich Company in Eden. They have a website and limited hours. I don't think they are here.

What type of work do you need done? - There ARE shops that advertise 'gunsmithing' that are incapable of mounting a set of scope bases...just saying.

Well, I need it to fire faster than a musket. I would like to get it operational and zeroed ASAP. I orginally had a a Odin's work adjustable Gas Block.
but when I took it to the range it would'nt fire. Ok , maybe it needs more gas. So I kept loosening the the front adjuster pin, and when I went to ajust it again it had fallen out into the dirt and grass. GRRRRRRRRRRRR! So, lets try that again and keep it simple stupid. So I bought a Bravo company plain gas block , no adjuster. Same size as the Odins works 0750 . It was tight!! I mean real tight . I had to grease the barrel tap it in with a mallet . So the first time, It didnt work. So Im trying to figure out what I did wrong. Let me see if I lined it up right, Took it off , saw that the screw hole on the bottom lined up with the gas hole at the top of the block. Easy enough, I just need to line up the screw hole with the mark on the bottom of the barrel . Check. Put it back on making sure it lined up perfectly with the screw hole on the bottom . test fire, and no cycle again.
I talked to the guy at Blue Tuna , He said he would look at it. Im not a gunsmith, I cant figure out how this isnt working. Unless somehow the gas port hole on the barrel is to small and needs to be drilled out more. I just dont have that kind of knowledge to figure it out . It might be something easy or it might be something that needs some work.

if you blow in the barrel covering the other end you should feel a considerable amount of air equivalent to one of those small
straws used to steer the sugar in the coffee. Same if you blow in the gas tube with the block installed.
what is the barrel length, length to the port and diameter of the port?
What is the distance from the port to the step/stop and is it the same from the top of the gas block to the port?
if you don't know take a drill set and use the back of the drill bit to find the closest tight match that goes into the port and
then measure with the calipers and let us know that that measure is.

If you’re desperate the gun locker in Tonawanda can probably help you. He’s kind of a jerk and expensive so just a warning on that. I won’t use him on principle but I’m that kind of guy.

Air seemed to flow ok through the block and tube OK. Air seemed to flow through the barrel hole OK . I could not blow air through the gas tube while installed , not because it was blocked, I had no way to do it.
Barrel length is 18 , from the gas hole to the tip of the muzzle is 4-7/8 inches. I dont know how large the gas port hole is , I have nothing to measure it with.
The distance from the barrel stop to the port is slightly less than a dime width.
I dont have calipers or drill bits that small , but Ill check my tool box again . Sorry I couldnt be more helpful , I just dont have the right gear with me.

Auto parts store should have windshield washer rubber hose. Power equipment store should have rubber fuel line for like chain saws, weed whackers etc. to slip over gas tube.

I took it to a gun smith today and he told me to return the barrel to Brownells . He explained to me that there isn't enough barrel length relative to the gas port . He said All you have is 4.5 inches of barrel before the gas leaves the barrel, the gas has to travel from the gas port to the receiver about 14 inches before the gas leaves the barrel . Thats why it wont cycle. Your losing gas before it hits your receiver. He said I dont know why they make them like that . I asked what I can do about it, He said return the barrel to Brownells ,
The chances of me getting a precision barrel are slim to none. The reason I went with a white Oak in the first place is because I couldn't get a LW Krieger, or shilen months ago .

Not sure if I buy that. I'm certainly not an AR guy but makes me think:
That gas tube has to see a lot of pressure immediately as the bullet passes the port, thousands of PSI I would think. So is there any bolt movement at all after firing? Maybe put a piece of good sticky tape on bolt and receiver and see if it still taped after firing? There is probably a better way to tell. If the port and block are not lined up very close I could see lower pressure in the tube to act on the bolt.

I have a mid length gas port I already tried a rifle and it seemed to jam up in there, the end of the gas port inside the receiver seems to be consistent with the end of the gas port from my other upper . the carbine length is just to short.
gas length is mid how long is the barrel? Who makes the barrel?
My guess is the gas port is too small.
