I said let the facts play out. All we have right now is the criminals family making accusations and they have plenty of motive to not be truthful. (dropped charges of criminal family member, payday, etc). I find it very unlikely that things weren't done properly especially because the police were notified and invited to the scene beforehand. As stated, people dont call them and have them meet them at the scene of a crime before they are about to commit it or engage in other wrongdoing. It just doesn't hold up on it's face. I look at everything under the guide of reasonableness. It's not reasonable to call the cops to participate in a crime.

I know they are bounty hunters, not law enforcement.

That means there is no exception in SAFE for them.

Even if they are LE and bounty hunting is a part time job for them, that makes them *not* "on duty" so they are not exempt.

You are going to great lengths with your assumptions in an attempt to justify the actions these BH's took, yet you criticize anyone who makes reasonable inferences that they "don't have the facts".

I am still trying to figure out *why* it's so important to you that the thugs breaking in the door are the good guys and the guy sleeping at home with his family is the bad guy ?

It says most people do it part time. 36K is nice part time money I think. And you can have your residence at 123 main st without owning the house. You have kids right? Well their residence is XXX yet they dont own the house. Where you are living is your residence.

I’m pretty sure my kids have my permission to live at my house though. I can’t just pick a nicer house than mine and make that my legal residence because I don’t live there or own the property.

You 100% fail every time to acknowledge the fact that they entered a renting tenants home at gun point, they lied about having a warrant, they broke the law by forcing their way into his home, and they did the same thing to this guys moms house. We also have no clue if this was listed as his residence or if he ever visited there.
The BH visited likely places for him to go. The only thing you’re right on is we don’t know all the facts.

Anyway they will be arrested for the crimes they committed. They can’t just go braking into any house they like at gun point because they are related to the criminal.
You state it seems to be working for you but this very same instance could happen to you say if your brother broke the law and jumped bail. These same bounty hunters might think he would stay at your home because they don’t know you. They could show up and break into your home at gun point for this very reason and how would you feel then? Would you say they had every right to do so ok come on in?

Again you fail to realize they broke into his mothers house first. Was the criminal there maybe but maybe not. Maybe they just did this to ever relative they could find for a buck? Maybe they are assholes and maybe the mom and brother are criminals. Either way the BH broke the law by entering the home by force and entering the tenants house under any circumstance. BH go to jail.

Also if you watch this video the guy with the shot gun tries the front door twice. That’s illegal since he needs permission to enter.

Actually, if its not the skips property they would need a warrant and thats part of the debate. But your viewpoint has prompted many to research and educate ourselves, which is the point of a good discussion.

This seems pretty despicable after watching the video. They lied about having a warrant. They told him to go in his house and “secure” his family (whatever that shit means) then told him to get out immediately after telling him to go back in. It’s pretty clear these guys are not professionals and are panicked wannabe cops who had very little clue what they were doing.

You can see how the true seasoned professionals handled themselves. The real police. They got baited into being witnesses to this nonsense by these guys with their fancy cop lookalike uniforms. The real cops never drew their weapons and remained extremely calm while the fake police walked around a private citizen’s house with shotguns *pointed*, not even in a tactical ready position, straight up pointing guns randomly to the point where a loud noise or someone frantically jumping out of bed could have caused them to have a negligent discharge.

As far as I’m concerned, jail time for the lying home invaders and too bad the city of Buffalo is surely going to have to pay the bill for this fiasco (I can’t imagine the lowlife PA bounty hunter agency that conducts itself like this has a penny to their name to pay out a lawsuit here). Props to the cops for remaining calm and not getting too involved but I imagine they will never allow something like this to happen on their watch ever again.

And for our blue lives matter fanatics who think anyone wearing a badge, whether it’s real or fake, can do no wrong, remember it’s the cops in this state that can’t wait for you to give them a reason to take your rights away and deny or revoke your license. Not everyone that doesn’t have a badge and comes into contact with someone who does have a badge is a criminal or aiding and abetting criminals. We live in a society where we usually have family and friends and acquaintances. We don’t control everything everyone does. We should show compassion to our fellow citizens and not disregard them. That’s what leads to shit like this happening, the antisocial disregard for civilians’ rights.

I'm sure we're all looking forward to the facts coming out, but I think more of what was being debated here was people's opinions and perspectives about how things should go, theoretically, in situations like this. It was a discussion bigger than just this actual incident.
