Aside from the bolt situation that is getting better but still might not be up to the rigors of army duty
the issue is that the shoulder angle is too much for being accepted.
There has never been a case when a case with that type of angle on the shoulder has made it even
to the list of candidates. 28degrees is effectively like 30 degrees and like 35 and 40 degree shoulder
angles is a big no no.
Also the taper of the round itself should be consider for reliable feeding in any sort of rifles and
weather conditions including dust, mud and machine gun belts.
The tests are pretty rigorous and cartriges like grendel, 6mmBR, 6.4 creed, 6x47 lapua, etc... will not make it.
