We have a lot of departmental people pulling retirement directly related to Covid. 4 this year and 4 next year. 2 went behind senior management back directly to HR and ghosted the department. Union drank the Kool-aid and sucked up to state Covid policies. I'm two years out and counting. I'm loving the chaos and mayhem I'm watching management not able to solve.

Many of the younger technical staff are currently unlicensed and have near zero institutional knowledge. Senior management thinks they're going to save a lot of money by basically promoting people years ahead of their time (at lower wages.) The younger generation in an effort to impress themselves has led a life of not getting their hands dirty. Personally I wouldn't trust them to put pencils in pocket protectors. Two years and change for me.

The company I work for is going forward with their plan but monitoring the legal status.

They have a benefits portal to go onto and report your vaccination status and documentation if vaccinated. They say it is all confidential, but my question is if it is really confidential how do you know which employees are vaccinated...LOL.

I was doing more reading today and it's making me sick to my stomach to know that a "lottery" is going to determine the fate of people's lives not just now, but down the line.

How do we as the public know if it's not already predetermined?

I don't understand -- every place I go and a majority of the stuff I read, BOTH vaccinated and unvaccinated people are against the mandate. How is this even happening?

With all the hub-bub, why isn't there people knocking over the politicians and going crazy?! I don't see much coverage on it -- other than "you need to get vaccinated" ...

Quite frankly. I don't want to hear anything from someone who's running for an elected position. I want to hear from someone who is already in a position of power and can actually do something. This is just lip service.

My employer sent it out the other day for me to round up copies of my guys vaccine cards. 2 years ago I would have thought that was not even legal to demand, but that seems thrown out the window.
On a side note, from what I have read, the employer is suppose to keep these records in some confidential file separate from employee records. The information is not entered into a database or anything to check validity, so I would assume if someone submitted a grainy pic of a card that proclaimed they had done the deed it would pass muster.

This is what we've been told too. But I'm assuming you're talking about actual paper copies? We were only given electronic forms to fill. My confidence that they won't be stored in a database of some sort is extremely low.

That money dries up. Bills go past due. Mortgage, insurance, water, heat, etc. Notices come for house foreclosure, repossession of vehicles. No money available for food, fuel, medical, etc. People are forced to a decision. Lose all I've worked for and not be able to feed my family, or.....

When forced into this position, I see no other possible outcome. Why don't those imposing this vax horeshit see it?

What I think would happen if the vaccine mandate does come about: The true, hard-working Americans will get fired for not complying. Which will in turn make the economy plummet to a point where there is not a snowballs chance of it returning favorably anytime soon. Of those that are not complying are the ones that actually run this country and do the work. The ones that do comply are the snowflakes that don't do anything all day, or ones that fall into desperation because they got coerced into falling into the bear trap.

I've already been told at work by quite a few coworkers, (vaxxed and unvaxxed) it's none of the company's business to know their intimate medical information and they have notified management about this several times that they are willing to be escorted off premises if such a mandate actually goes into effect. Simply put, the management is not happy about this at all -- some are mortified at the years of technical skills/expertise they'd lose.

What drives me crazy is how fast this garbage gets put in place, but it takes a three-ring circus act to get rid of when it's blatantly unconstitutional.

Let's just hope this nonsense gets flushed down the commode... what waste of taxpayer monies...
