I have seen tree stands every hunting trip back to New Yorkistan. Mostly them wide ones where two people can sit in them.
At my age I dont have the ambition to climb up in one.

Out here everyone has trailcams set up everywhere. Same thing, if it isnt yours leave it the fuck alone.
On your tree stands you should have someone weld your name on the frame for I'd purpose.

That is fucked the hell up, sorry to hear it. I heard that over/down here as well during my Hunter Ed course (that this has been happening).
I had to go do errands and crap, I got one more day left. Pulled into the house about 4:00 with the wife, 10'ish does bolted out of the backyard.
I will say- I feel privileged and honored that I can go out because I want to, and not because I *have to* go out. There's always next year.

Because of past experiences we now cable lock ours and take the climbing sticks down when not in use. Most thieves are to lazy to bring their own ladder. Sorry that it happened to you!

Spent some time in the stand this morning and saw absolutely nothing. Looks like it's time to hang it for yet another year.
Work didnt allow for as much regular season hunting as I was hoping for but being a first year archer, I guess it was successful since its the only deer (8 point) I took this year. My first to boot. Hope all enjoyed the season and let's roll this thread into next year.

2 days left, I'll never surrender. I sat out in a nasty long downpour, I dressed for it pretty much, great day, no shots but I did see Mr Big again. Expected to cap him yesterday until 2 fuckhead trespassers almost walked past me at 20' tops, I lightly whistled twice to wake them up. they were walking down the edge of a field 10 minutes from sunset, lucky I didn't beat the shit out of them. That's twice they screwed my hunting up, it's only going to happen 1 more time, I got permission today to boot them out. My Shangri La now

Just got it back. I like the look but I think I'll shellack the bone and give it a parchment look. My wife was fixing some venison yesterday and found the bullet in the meat, kind of a timely discovery. It's between the antlers.
