That’s easy- the answer is “any PA shop that has the ammo you want that had a fair price.” Same goes for other states that don’t require a FOID or similar card to purchase ammunition. We need a "where to buy ammo in Pa" thread.

You guys are busy worrying about the trooper car... What about the drones telling him which car came from the PA gun store?
Obviously the only solution is full urban camo on the tops of all of our cars.
Close the door call 911 and say there is a group of people outside my door pretending to be cops wanting to see my guns. They don’t have warrants and I am scared.NYPD is your FRIEND .. remember that
New York Goes Door To Door For Gun Parts & NYPD Puts On Master Class On How To Build "Ghost Guns"
i hope they hit all the Lowes and Home depots there too .
give it a month or two and NYSP will be doing the same BS
Even if they did have papers that said "WARRANT"...who here has the expertise to tell if it's a legit document and not a forgery? Call 911 anyway.Close the door call 911 and say there is a group of people outside my door pretending to be cops wanting to see my guns. They don’t have warrants and I am scared.
Even when it’s not legal and I’m not ID’d I’ll still buy it out of state and return with it. I will remove it from all the boxes with lot codes and place it in an old ammo can. Prove I bought it out of state. Pay cash and no receipt. What’s the next fear gonna be? Out of state gasoline in our tanks? Out of state produce? Canned goods? No- I got it: clothing. Untaxed shirts and socks. What in the ever-lovin’ FUCK are people worried about regarding buying ammunition from outside the NYS border? Unlike handguns and (now) semi-auto rifles, it is lawful and possible to buy ammunition from another state and drive home with it. Just like you could buy body armor while you’re there, and bring it home, too. The Troopers can’t do anything regarding this to impede or prevent it from happening.
And not once has this ever occurred outside of a vehicle or something that requires registration on it. This should be challenged and is likely illegal. The only thing "illegal" about that is not paying the sales tax. Yep, sounds weird but it’s true for any product that you buy and did not pay NYS sales tax on. That was a big thing years ago with NYC people going to Jersey and buying clothes, appliances etc.
Painting "Hunter's hard drive" should also work then.Nah. Just spray paint the phrase, "EPSTEIN'S CLIENT LIST" all over the roof and the drones will be unable to see you.
Your car plates bubbaHow would they know if you were from NY?
So the gun counter guy at the big box sporting goods store is going to know exactly which car is yours in the sea of vehicles parked out in the lot and use his binoculars to check the plate? (This assumes he tracked you from the moment you stepped out of your car and made your way through the store.)Your car plates bubba
I don't recall seeing anything in the NYS law that says state residents aren't allowed to buy ammo in other states and bring it home. Does it actually say that?Just wait until NYSP stages at the border to pull traffic stops on cars with NY plates like they do during fireworks season.
You guys go on and keep telling Aunt Cunty Hochul ways around her bullshit so she can fix all the holes.
You don't learn.
I did most of my stocking up during the Covid shortage. All ordered online. Spent over $1/round on thousands of rounds, like an idiot. Caught the FOMO feeling. I think I spent ~$6k on 5.56 alone lolI cannot keep ammo on the shelves fast enough. With the Hornady primer factory explosion and a Czech billionaire buying up CCI & Federal ammo, we are going to have a shortage again not to mention we are giving arms to Ukraine, Israel and Taiwan. Better stock up now and do not repeat what happened during Covid.
No. Completely legal. Don’t buy into the fear porn.I don't recall seeing anything in the NYS law that says state residents aren't allowed to buy ammo in other states and bring it home. Does it actually say that?
So now ammo stores and FFLs follow you from the parking lot? I doubt they care or even look.Your car plates bubba
No and NYS can’t dictate what you do in other states.I don't recall seeing anything in the NYS law that says state residents aren't allowed to buy ammo in other states and bring it home. Does it actually say that?
No way that’s true.I bought a gun and ammo at a big box last weekend. The clerk at the ammo desk said his buddy got nailed at the PA border by the NYSP with a $250.00/box fine. Sounds like total BS to me as I have not seen or heard anything about this being illegal or any part of the SAFE Act or the CCIA prohibiting it. Federal Law keeps you from buying a pistol out of state, not not long guns or shot guns or ammo. I don't doubt that Hochul, the AG and the NYSP would and do often make threats, make arrests, make criminal cases, confiscate legally owned items, illegally search, issue fines, etc. under color of law with no actual law to back them up, just lots of lawyers, judges and taxpayer money to keep us down anyway they can. So it seems to me that they "can't", but perhaps do anyway. Anyone got a bead on this (ie. it's been done to you or someone you know personally and not a story by some guy about some other guy he knows)?
What was the price for .223, if you’d be willing to divulge that information?Picked up a couple cases of 223 yesterday. The store was having a case sale. May go back and grab some 9mm or 45 today.
9.99 a box so 500 a case. What was the price for .223, if you’d be willing to divulge that information?
The only way you get away with this is you're driving a Prius. Good camouflage plan.Picked up a couple cases of 223 yesterday. The store was having a case sale. May go back and grab some 9mm or 45 today.
I think they should be sent bolt guns. Good enough for us and would naturally keep ammo usage down.I cannot keep ammo on the shelves fast enough. With the Hornady primer factory explosion and a Czech billionaire buying up CCI & Federal ammo, we are going to have a shortage again not to mention we are giving arms to Ukraine, Israel and Taiwan. Better stock up now and do not repeat what happened during Covid.
I will not fear. Fear is the mind killer.No. Completely legal. Don’t buy into the fear porn.
Not horrible, but not great. Until you factor in the “NYS missed out on sales tax and suppression of a free citizen’s rights” aspect, in which .50/rnd becomes a bargain.9.99 a box so 500 a case.
.50 cents a round is going to look cheap in about 4months if the 2 wars in Europe and the Middle East don’t wrap up.Not horrible, but not great. Until you factor in the “NYS missed out on sales tax and suppression of a free citizen’s rights” aspect, in which .50/rnd becomes a bargain.
I'm cheap, so .50 a round dosn't sound like a bargain to me, I can still roll load em for IDK about .15 each..50 cents a round is going to look cheap in about 4months if the 2 wars in Europe and the Middle East don’t wrap up.
