Sadly, the whole world is spiraling down the drain and heading towards a totalitarian one world govt.... unless enough people say ENOUGH and do something about it.

I am too lazy to look it up, but the Russians did some pretty nasty Nuke testing on all residents, to include children, in a few of their smaller towns.

May not be the same as this; but I stand by my all government throughout history have done some pretty nasty things to their own people.

They didn't test it on people to see what happens. They underestiamated the effects and scope of the exposure as was the case during nuclear tests in this country. Apples and oranges.

Not to be a bully, but not to be bullied. The reality is that someone will be the big kid, and if its not us then who? Who do you think should be the #1 superpower? What other countries "pronciples" should we be living by.

Im not saying we need to interfere with other countries, but there are plenty who invite our help and are our allies. He with the most strategic allies calls the shots. Our country is far from perfect, but its far better than any other out there I can think of.

Come on man, you sound like Krushiv's nephew. Western civilization has brought many great things. And it has a few bad points too, but overall Its been a benefit to mankind . Thats not to say it hasnt been corrupted , It has . and if we lived by the ideals of the constitution and our forefathers we would never have been involved foreign entanglements.

People have fucked things up , the ideas didnt . They are still sound principles. Its the assholes we have to stop from getting into power.

Who is or was bullying Switzerland for the past 150 years? There are other countries who mind their own business and nobody bothers them. Your argument is a spin based on paranoia and immaturity. There is no evidence to back it up. We are well protected by geography alone. Others not so much.
Domestically we divide people into two camps and pit them against each other and we do the same thing Internationally by invitation or without one.
Your belief that our country is superior to others and therefore should rule the world historically resulted in demise. Good luck convincing the world.

I don't consider Western belief in supremacy a great thing. Our self-glorification is raised to the point of schizophrenia, where we no longer capable of seeing our arrogance. Western civilization brought many great things, but that's well in the past. Gender confusion and pedophilia is our future.

Other countries that jave no chance to be a world power or are strategically not reqlly needed are different. If we used our geographic location alone, and didnt deal withvthe reat of the world then somepne like China or Russia would step up to be THE major power and they would have a great say in what happens around the world and we would be at their mercy. Countries dont exist in a vacuum, and someone will ALWAYS eant the power to be in charge, its human nature whether you like it or not.

Correct, but Hitler's ideals are rejected by every government on earth. Soviet stance against Colonialism, Imperialism and their stance for racial equality isn't. Soviets were the catalyst and the rest of the world followed. We are pathetically trying to catch up by using reverse racism. Two wrongs don't make it right.

To answer the claim made by Spat:

KGB for its entire existence hunted down Nazi war criminals and brought them to justice.
CIA employed them and in many cases helped them to hide their past.
