It doesn't have to be black or white. If one guy makes a comment like, " Wow! That is an excellent price for that rifle in that condition. Jump on it guys!" That is cool.

But every member reading it doesn't need to add their opinion with their "me too!" attitudes and crowd the guy's thread. That's what the like buttons are for.

If he had wanted a discussion thread on the rifle, he would have created a thread in the appropriate section. Nothing is stopping you from creating your own thread regarding the rifle and mentioning that someone is selling one on the classifieds.

Respect his thread and use common sense. There is nothing worse than receiving the 25th alert and it's some jackass saying that the gun is shiny when you thought you finally got a buyer.

Meh, I'd rather deal with the chit chat and meet some nice peeps than some of the crap you get from ebay. Put up an item fixed price a little higher than what I'd take with an auto accept set about $10 lower than asking price and an auto decline set at about $15 lower than ask. Get an offer for 1/3 of my ask price with a note "Will buy tonight". Of course it was auto declined. A day goes by and bidder ups his bid by $10, which is still 1/2 my ask price, which is also auto declined. So he sends me a note "my best offer of $xx was not accepted what do you want for it? I did my best to reply nicely, but basically said your best offer is being auto declined because your price isn't even in the same ball park as mine, oh, and by the way my ask price is $yy (which is what was already listed). F'n morons... /rant
